Z-I-v Summer Contest 2018

Wow, it's my last theme already? It doesn't even feel like the contest started that long ago!

Okay so since this is the week of July 4th and there’s a fairly good chance at least some of us are going to be busy, I wanted this week to be an easy week. Totally has nothing to do with me being an unoriginal scrub or anything.


- This week, we’re gonna take a little trip down memory lane. Step any song that has been submitted to a previous Summer Contest... and did NOT make the podium.
- To make this simpler, I threw together a full list of all of the winning songs from 2010 up to 2017. That way you have one convenient ban list to look at instead of digging through old threads trying to figure out what won and what didn't. I did the digging for you.
- Songs used in Summer Contest 2018 are NOT eligible for this week's theme, regardless of whether or not they've ever won before. This theme is already focused on unoriginal song choices, the least we can do this week is pick stuff that wasn’t stepped in the last couple of months.
- If you don't like the original song cut or the original audio quality, you're more than welcome to make a new song cut and find higher quality audio. However, you must use the same version of the song that was submitted to the contest. No stepping remixes of old submissions or anything like that.
- All songs still need to be under the standard 2:30 time limit, even if the song was submitted to a Long Versions Week or something.

APPEND
- If you've participated in a previous Summer Contest, you are not allowed to go back and restep your old cruddy files that didn't win. That kind of goes against the rule about not submitting files you've already publicly released. Even if your new steps are drastically different from your previous steps, you're still submitting a song you've technically already stepped.
- The ban list does not extend to other ZIv step contests. Even though Magical Voice Shower placed 2nd in Battle Royale 2017, it's never actually made the podium in Summer Contest, so I'll still allow it.

Oh, that's easy. There's a handful of Summer Contest 2016 songs (in my experience) that I think really need second passes. I should be able to do this theme too. :3

Although, I have a question: There may be songs that people didn't place with in Summer Contest, but other people did in a different contest. For instance, SC2012 entry Magical Voice Shower isn't present on the list, but Spork! got 2nd place with it in the first Battle Royale. Should those be banned too?

This is limited to Summer Contest only. If a song like Magical Voice Shower has made the podium in another contest, then it's okay to step here.

Yeah, the list is made so you don't see a song and then have to dig through posts to see if it actually won or not. This is much easier.

Anyway, remember that file from 2014 for [Low Speed] week? Well, me neither but here it is anyway.
Compared to RIME's file back then, I personally didn't like that the second half wasn't included from the whole song, so this cut has it.
Definitely more emphasis on the vocals in .
