I was contemplating doing the ALT version of that song for this week but I wanted to be more original because the song itself has numerous simfiles already made of it. (^^♪

The deadline isn't for about another half an hour but I thought you guys might want to get started on this one a little early. Yes, this is Daffa's theme, he's not going to be around for the announcement so he's having me do it.

Anyways, IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN


Veterans of Summer Contest should know how this works by now. Find another simfile artist to collaborate with and make a simfile together! Rules are the same as last year, but in case you're new or need a refresher:

- You can step any song you want this week!
- Just like last year, you and your partner must work together on your simfile’s hardest difficulty. Work together and incorporate both of your ideas into one stepchart.
- Lower difficulties are of course optional and don’t require collaboration. Feel free to split the lower charts however you want.
- You can only collab with one person. Choose wisely!
- The pair with the winning file will BOTH advance to the VIP Room!

Well I can't do shit in this one...

Just got my votes in, but I'm not going to be able to complete a file in time.

Sometimes we do other stuff that prevents us from getting a file done. I much preferred the Monday deadline. I realize it would be unfair to change it now, but I think for future contests it should be reverted.

Not if you collaborate with the right people.

A lot of the files last ZIv Academy were very good, so some files were pushed into the dust when they probably would've done very well in some of the other weeks.

Also you've improved a lot since last year (did you forget vincentw declared you certain for the VIP room??), I seriously don't think it'll happen again. :P


This is, purely concerning musical choices, a free week. If you ask people around, exchange songs, chances are you'll get someone to help and be able to complete a file together.
