The dump of Pop'n Stage (EX) is incomplete (only HDD with audio and charts is dumped), so you can't play it.

The recent build is broken for 573 games fyi.

Yeah, it was just off sync before, now it freezes on me with the music still playing just before the first notes hit the targets.

Not System 573, but the latest builds of MAME have ParaParaParadise V1.0, ParaPara Paradise V1.1 and ParaParaDancing suffer from the arrows skipping during the music and resulting in stage fail. ParaParaParadise 1st MIX PLUS doesn't skip at all and only freezes for a little bit as the song's background visuals switch to the next.

Oh, bother!

Good thing I still have the older nightly build on my computer/didn't download this yet.

My copy stutters. How do I fix that? I downloaded Ashura's mameui 0.210.

Still stutters. I'd be screwed if it had something to do with having only 4GB of RAM.

And adjusting the audio latency didn't work.

Edit: On a side note, how you get a dance pad to work with it? Turning joystick_contradictory to 1 doesn't work. It can't read left+right and up+down.

I'm having the same issue, all DDR game I've tried run at half speed and every sound play twice

By the way, does beatmania III work in MAME? I've tried to tun The Final and it gets stuck in a black screen

About sync problem, graphics and audio are synced properly (if you look a demonstration/attraction sequence), so maybe it's a input delay problem. I have tested most DDR games (except Dancing Stage Internet Ranking version, because it has additional audio delay), all DJ MAIN games and even Hyper Bishi Bashi Champ.
The Firebeat hardware emulation (and similar or more powerful hardware as well) is preliminary, so working is unguaranteed. But if you want to boot it, you can try using a different BIOS.

Did anybody get DDR 1st to work? There's a hardware error. (heck, this should've been playable before MAME was updated considering 2nd Mix was playable years before in MAME)

I boot DDR 1st mix in the american version GN845 UAA (uses the 2nd mix core and interface) in mame 0.211
Another one is the internet ranking version GC845 JAB, works fine here! Just go pressing F2.

The japanease didn't work for me.
