I'm having trouble getting Stepmania to start without crashing and burning. I can't pinpoint exactly how to fix it without uninstalling as I don't have a crash log. If uninstalling is my only option at this point, I'll be fine, but I want to figure out if I can fix it without doing that. I don't know if I should be asking here, but I don't have an account on the Stepmania forums and can't make one due to bot spam. The logs in %appdata% tell me nothing.

If you install Stepmania 5 on Windows 7,8.1 or 10, NEVER install on %PROGRAMFILES%. Use (root):\GAMES\ instead.
Aslo, if your drivers are obsolete, update these or change to new drivers.

The StepMania 5 bugtracker is at https://github.com/stepmania/stepmania/issues. Please provide as much information as you can, including logs even if they don't seem helpful.
