I couldn't search for a thread about this, so I'm making a new one.
Does anyone happen to have, against all odds, a copy of Ollec2004's Background Videos?
If someone does, I will be eternally grateful.

I think I still have all of those integrated into the rest of the simfiles. Which songs are you interested in? Since I no longer have a dedicated Ollec folder.

not it, but this may be of interest to you.
this is a new videos pack based on digital rips that is mostly compatible with the old videos/scripts (ollec2004 etc)

First of all, thank you both for replying.
I already know of that pack, thank you for making it!
Wow, thank you for your offer!
Would I need to compile a list of the songs I need, if I just need the ones featured in the NA PS2 versions of DDR (DDRMAX - DDR Extreme) that aren't in beware's DDR Extreme arcade pack?
If you need a list, I'd be more than happy to provide one when I have the time.

Need anymore?
Need anymore?
I hate to ask for more, seeing as you are already doing me a huge favor, but I was hoping to have pretty much all of the BG scripts for the songs in the US PS2 versions of DDRMAX, DDRMAX2, and DDR Extreme.
If you need links to the songlists, here they are.
If you need a more concise list, I can provide one tomorrow.
I'm sorry if I'm asking too much.

can you explain why you need ollec2004? im trying to see if there's a misunderstanding. iirc, ollec2004 only "adds" a lot of duplicates, and fan made (not in ddr) videos. i eliminated those in the beware 2005 pack.
also, why do you say "not in beware extreme" ? beware extreme contains a subset of the beware 2013 pack. the beware video packs contains a lot more videos than beware extreme does.

What I mean is do you know exactly which songs you are looking for that contain the Ollec videos? My commercial simfile collection is huge and I'm not sure what I did with the Ollec packs.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I have finally found the time to make a specific list of songs that I am requesting.
These were taken from RemyWiki's songlists for the USA console versions of DDRMAX, MAX2, and EXTREME, and cross-examined between Beware's scripts to ensure that there were no dupicates (aside from Highs Off U, which I explain).
Hope it's not too much, and not too late.
Once again, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've been very busy with real life stuff and didn't have time to sit down and compose this list until now.

I don't remember having that many from Ollec. Is there any few you have in mind? I think the only ones I got are the the ones with the live videos.

A large amount of those exist on the BG Scripts thread created by DarkFeline. However, the thread is very tricky to navigate and I don't think everything listed there is available, so I can understand if that doesn't work for you.
For the music video songs, the mediafire links here should still work.
For the rest, with two exceptions, I can whip up scripts for them because I've seen them plenty of times. Some things to note are that some songs use reversed/subclips of videos that aren't in beware's pack, such as Funk Boogie using jazz1r, cube2a (second half of the 5 second clip), and cube2r.
The two things I can't complete are THEME FROM ENTER THE DRAGON and WAITING FOR TONIGHT because they use special videos that no one has ripped yet. Otherwise, all of those songs are fair game.

Actually I just uploaded a torrent to 133t of all ollec's and beware's bg scripts.
This should do it, includes everything to get you going for mixes 1st - 8th, from everything I've been gathering since 2005.

First of all, apologies for not responding. Waiting these long periods is a habit I really ought to break.
@CuzcoBlocko, I looked through the thread you posted, and not only did I find plenty of material for BG Scripts (some of which needed fixing up to work with the ZiV simfiles, but I was able to handle those for the most part) I also found a link to Ollec's scripts via the Imternet Archive! so thanks for both of those.
Also, @Daniel_BMS, you were right about Ollec's collection not including everything I listed.
@proxykid, Thank you for the link! I'll make sure to download it and try it out at the earliest opportunity.
As a separate note, I'm in the process of getting my PS2 up and running again, so hopefully I'll be able to try my hand at the BG Scripts game soon. (Currently dealing with a bit of input lag, but I might have an older TV that I can use to hopefully eliminate that)
Anyways, once again, thanks for the help everyone!
EDIT: Actually, I might take you up on your offer, Cuzco. I'll let you know in a PM (Or through Discord, if you would accept a friend request from me. Haven't sent one yet, would like to know if I should.)

Wow ollec2004, now that's a name I haven't heard in over a decade! He was without question the best moderator of DDR Mania X Forums back in the day. I wonder where he is now....also, good luck getting those BG scripts, GreenGhost21.
