Hi, I was wondering if there's a fan-made list of pre-X songs that have updated X-Scale ratings out there? I've re-rated some myself but it would be nice to have something else to look at as a reference. For example, I rated Love me do (acolyte mix) a 13 but I could easily see it being a 14 as well. Thanks in advance.
Also, if something like this doesn't already exist would it be worth listing the ratings I'm currently using?

Actually, there's a formula for this. I've once read about someone who divided X-Scale ratings by 0.75 to make them into ITG scale (which is exactly the classic scale, only expanded). Use this formula when transfering songs into X-Scale: C-scale x 1.5 = X-scale. You'll obviously see a lot of 12, 13.5, 10.5, so you'll have to work that out.

Or more simple, use this to guide you:

1= 1-2
2=2-3
3=4
4=5
5= 6 or 7
6= 8 or 9
7= 10 (can sometimes be higher or lower)
8= 11 or 12
9= 13 or 14
10= 15+

You'll have to take your jurisdiction into hand, especially for songs with more than one rate. I can help you with the ratings if you want, but It'll take some time since Hurricane Maria is threatening us.

My issue is that I'm looking for something more precise to this that I can use for a reference guide. For example, L.A. Evolved is a 9 classic scale, but it's debatable whether it's a 14 or 15 pm the x-scale. There are plenty of songs like that. Also, that formula you listed should be used with caution because some songs have their ratings change drastically from classic to x-scale, like from a 7 to a 13 or a 9 to a 12.

That is true, that's why I said that your jurisdiction (or judgment) should be taken into consideration. Nevertheless, there are songs that literally land in a place where it's difficult to tell which of both ratings it fits into best.
