Heya. I've got a question for those of you with more charting experience than I.

I'm breaking out of my shell of "DDR-style only" charts, and I've made a simfile which includes Warps with Stops on the trailing end. For pretty much all of these warps, there is a step on the leading edge which leads directly into a brief stop, so you hit the step, and suddenly you have to visually take in the next section of steps that appear in front of you. (If you can guess what song this is from that, kudos.)

My issue is that these steps on the tip of the warp are not registered as existing in-game, since they are within the Warp's bounds and are considered "skipped". I'm aware that that's how it's supposed to work, but I want these notes to be judged. Is there any way to create this effect I'm looking for? I can provide pictures of the sections I'm talking about, or any clarification, if you'd like.

Thanks for stopping by my thread; if you have any idea, let me know!

When you place a warp, notes start counting again on the exact beat the player warps to, so all you need to do is place a note at the end of the warp. Here's an example from something I've been working on:

Here's the start of the warp. The first note and everything else you see are totally skipped, as intended.

Since I made the warp 16 beats long, I'm going to place another down arrow exactly 16 beats after the start of the warp, like this:

Technically the first note of the first screenshot is still considered fake, but placing the that same note at the end point makes up for it.

Just goes to show that you gotta think outside of the box when you're makin' weird simfiles. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks, Gameoson!
