NGL, I'm pleasantly surprised with the variety of the songlist, so far! It's not completely plagued with HinaBitter/Touhou songs like it is with DDR/GC/etc. nowadays!

The only bummer is that I can't play this the moment it lands at my local R1, because I'm going on vacation to Las Vegas in a few weeks. D:

I think it’s this way to appeal more to worldwide and not just Japanese “casuals”. That’s also why they have EDM and radio pop in it.

So...Dance Rush is popping up in US arcades now, but there's a catch.
It's using the JP build even at US R1 locations, which means no Premium (no cameras filming you as you play ), no Extra Stage because Standard is Paseli-only (leaving all those good songs locked forever ), and...on the bright side, no "these songs can't be played because they aren't in your region" nonsense.

From what I've heard, Premium mode is not PASELI only, it just costs twice as much. But Standard is.

And I figured with the huge focus on licensed stuff, that a US-specific version was unlikely, unless it used a different pricing structure than DDR did here.

Maybe it's like Groove Coaster where it defaults to the Japanese settings, and you need an update to disable the Paseli paywall? Either way, hope someone will give us some concrete evidence of the game already set up so we can know for sure what's going on. >>

So, does anyone know how many R1 arcades have Dance Rush right now?
