[Released/trashed] [SM5.1.-3] DDRNG2

Pack includes:
- Courses
- Noteskins
- Theme

Features that I actually got around to featuring:
- Pretty(?) UI
- Console: Supports 16:9 and 4:3 for PC and Arcade setups using menu buttons and numerical keypads.
- 4 sexy music wheel styles: Grid (A-style), List (Gitadora-style), X2-style, Old-style (X and older).
- New options screen thanks to the new SM5 (thoughts?)
- Lots of customizable things like "arrow color", "arrow type" and gameplay/score niceties (with profile).
- Announcer: Built in and OPTIONAL for those who prefer it off.



I'm sorry if you were really hoping for this to be big but life got in the way and I need to start something new to get back on track. Therefore I won't be working on NG2 anymore...but stay tuned for future projects in which I actually sort of know what I'm doing.

For now though, I hope this theme can serve as a base for people to experiment with DDR type stuff and my weird ideas/errors. It certainly helped me figure out a few things.

You should create a new evaluation screen that includes EX SCORE (percent/dance points) like DDR A on this theme. Respect to gameplay, good job.

The theme, the song previews and the noteskin look and sound amazing so far. Specially the theme which seems like it will have a pretty stylish look which will make it my main theme for quite a while.

Thanks for your comments guys! I really want this theme to have a lot of community input as far as feedback and suggestions go. As for features like EX Score and things, I'm going to try and implement the whole rivals system type stuff so it'll be there eventually (hopefully for the first release)

I have a little question about installing the noteskin...How do i do it, i try placing the noteskins in the dance folder and i just get tiny boxes as arrows.

When you install noteskins for sm5.1.-3 you don't use folders like "Dance", "Pump" and other gametypes like the old versions. Instead you install the noteskins directly into Stepmania 5/Noteskins.

It’s a 2017 release? But it’s January 5th, 2018. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time now. I’m really excited to try it out.

Question: As NG2 has been released without the songs that were going to be in it. You plan to release them as part of a separate pack or add them to a new project?

Wait so is this for SM 5.0.12? Or for SM 5.1? I want to know if I should download SM 5.1 or if I should just use it with my existing copy of SM 5.0.12.

That same screen happens to me when i try to use the theme in 5.1 and i play on 16:9

I switched to 5.1.-3 and it works. You have to use that version and not the 5.1 beta version.

StepMania 5.1.-3 is actually an alpha release of StepMania 5.2 due to some changes in the plan.
