Sumidagawa is a peculiar chart but not worth a 10 (note that lots of previous 10 weren't that worthy either)
The new re-rating is overall good though there is some downgrades that are strange (the most obvious being neu scaling down to 9 while being consider at the mid-top class for 10s...)

Regarding clan I could only play 1 credit today and the sound was too low to hear (or rather the other games around were a lot more merrier) so I will actually comment on the game another time.
Didn't had the time to explore the new unlocking system sadly (shopping with drops you get randomly from matching people?)
Also, matching people playing different songs is a bit odd but at least you always have 4 person playing (how does it go for songs with a huge lenght difference tough...)

All those different coloured gems to unlock new songs might take a good while (you need a bit of luck as well) to collect so matching is equally important now.

How did jubeat clan get its name anyhow? Here I am wondering. I can't quite detect any foreign language terms "clan" could've gotten derived from.

jubeat clan hit the Philippines a little while back, and I must say... I'm loving it so much already. I'm happy Quantum and Q PowerStation arcades are starting to level up in terms of BEMANI music games, but it's sad that Timezone is stuck with old versions (and Timezone Glorietta 4 only has one copious machine that's offline AND in really bad condition).
I need help with the OMIYAGE system though I don't really know how it works
Also, how come I don't see smooooch [2] and the other songs in clan records?

You need to unlock every song in clan records in order to access the next batch of songs.
So, you just need to pray for matching against people of the appropriate city and then receive omiyage. It's purely luck-based

I wanted to unlock "アキネイション" but it was nowhere to be found in Jubeat Shop. Where is it?
How is Omiyage obtained?

Eh? It should be purchasable at Shop. Maybe you have too many locked songs so it doesn't come up (only 9 at a time according to BemaniWiki)

Omiyage is obtained through matching and daily bonus. This is such a shitty system because it needs you to play at least once (for at least 14 days in a month) because those rainbow/gold gems are not easily obtained via matching.

Only 9 at a time? What was the point of putting arrow buttons in the shop then?
