Also the clear lamp is there in the screenshots but doesn't appear in-game, I'm not sure if that was intentional?

I think it only appears if you pass all charts of a song. In my case, the clear lamp only appears in X-Specials and Groove Radar Specials (which only have 1 chart).

Otherwise it's a pretty good theme. I still think the songwheel is fixable, as well as some fonts that need some tweaking.

No, Madkat already made a DDR A Theme. This is the newer version of the DDR A Theme.

This theme is really great and looks really nice! My only kinda-critique is that having the little difficulty level above the song jacket like in the arcade would be really cool, but I'm not sure how hard that would be to implement. Also the clear lamp is there in the screenshots but doesn't appear in-game, I'm not sure if that was intentional?

I have tried to implement these two function but nah, I failed. Confused
If anybody like to help implement these, we can add them into it.

In DDR 2014 theme, it won't switch meter if user switch difficulty.
It only shows the hardest meter.

Did you try reloading song/courses after inserting the picture into the song folder?

This looks like a very cool theme. Just one question though. Is this safe to DL? I say this because when I go on the site to DL, my antivirus gives me an alert saying that it might be risky to DL. I only had this happen when DLing this theme in recent memory and with no other theme. BTW, my antivirus is MCafee. Just want to be sure and be more safe and sorry. That's all.

"Just Play Along"
Very happy to see this finally get released. The way the song wheel is done is pretty clever, and I also appreciate finally having scores visible on the song wheel. It's also nice to finally have the screen filter accessible, in any situation. However, here's a couple things bothering me that I hope are remedied with a future update:

Conflicting scoring systems. Since it's a DDR A theme, I'd like to stick to the most current DDR scoring system. At the moment the only accessible one is SN2's, which I'm fine with. However, you have to choose this in the SM5 Advanced Options, since it is set to a different scoring system by default, which has more digits in the score than SN2's. Additionally, if you already have scores saved from using the default theme or any other theme, or you get a score from a different theme, you will never be able to beat those scores because of the increased amount of digits, unless you change it back to the scoring system they were acquired with. It's also annoying to see extra 0's on an SN2 score.

Not being able to access the options by holding down Enter. This is very frustrating, and I don't see why this can't be done. Maybe this is necessary to be able to access options from the Song Wheel by pressing Select? But other themes can achieve this without removing the ability to access the options by holding down Enter. Additionally, the options don't have quarter speed mods, like 0.25x, 0.5x, 1.75x, etc. which are very convenient for newer DDR songs.

It's also disappointing to see the ScreenFilter option go back to being a number between 0.0 and 1.0 rather than just Dark, Darker and Darkest, because it means you can never have the true shade of Darker or Darkest from DDR games and it would take 5 inputs to get to the Dark one, which would be 0.5, rather than a single input if it were just set to the three named options. I do like being able to set the difficulty from the options though, and being able to see a song's foot rating within it.

It's very annoying to have to press the Up arrow on the Song Results every single time just to see your actual score (the amount of Marvelous, Perfect, etc) instead of the "Cleared" message. Why can't this tab be open by default? Why can't the theme remember the last opened tab?

The rest is just obvious arcade inaccuracies that aren't too big of a deal but are noticeable, like the font for the score being wrong in the gameplay screen, as well as the combo and judgement looking too small compared to the arcade game. Most of the fonts in the theme are pretty weird, really. I do wish the song wheel were aligned like in the real game, but I can see why this would be hard to achieve so it's not a big deal. Overall I just hope this theme doesn't get abandoned and will get updated with time. Again thank you for releasing this.

Thank you for these opinions.
1. Including DDR A, all series after SN2 uses SN2 scoring system (or a little modified version, like DDR A), in my opinion, DDR SN2 scoring system is very a very fair one. So I chose it. Further version I will try to add something like AA+, A-.

2. Not being able to access the options by holding down Enter. This is because some bugs of stepmania happens when I let this being enabled if I have 'Risky' options in it. This is similar with DDR SN home series. I'm not planing to change it recently until I find a way to avoid the bug.

3. I kept the screen filter from 0.1-0.9 is only because I think it is more flexible. I'll try to change it to Dark, Darker and Darkest next time.

4. The detail score tab in results screen is copied from DDR 2014 theme, next time I will update with a memorized version.

5. The rest fonts issue will be fixed progressively. Maybe you guys can have some pictures to let me know where to fix.

"Just Play Along"
Thanks for the response. Like I said I'm fine with the SN2 scoring system, it's just that when I first got the theme it wasn't selected by default in advanced options, and if I use any other theme, I'll accidentally "beat" a score from this theme because of the extra digits, like say, I get an 89,999,999 score on the default theme, and that beats my 970,000 from the DDR A theme. The latter is supposed to be higher, but the format of the default theme's scoring system surpasses this with its extra digits, pretending that it's a higher score. Maybe the theme could somehow ignore the last couple of digits in a score automatically? It could only take into account the first 7 digits in a score and ignore the last three, then it could somewhat look consistent with the SN2 scores, rather than just showing the full 9 digit score of the default system and pretending that it's higher.

I did forget to mention one thing that's getting on my nerves, which is that on the Cleared screen at the end of a song you get the door closing sound effect that is actually supposed to play on the Failed screen, which really throws me off every time. Again, another minor detail.
