[StepMania 5.0.12 Theme] DDR A

Wow... just wow... no words can describe how amazing this theme is... this theme is a must have for anyone with stepmania

Does anyone have tips to enhance the performance? I'm running on an old laptop and every now and them the screen freezes for like a second and messes me up.

Also Trav358, would it be at all possible to be able to sort songs by artist? That would be pretty damn sweet

I'm trying to add DDR A's scoring system to the theme, but there are 4 scoring luas (04 Scoring, 05 Scoring, 90 Scoring, and 99 Score) and I don't know how they work together for the theme's scoring. I know I need to modify "04 Scoring" but will that break other parts of the theme?

You actually don't need to modify 04 Scoring.lua. The only bit of scoring code that will run in the theme is actually the if scoremode=="SuperNOVA2" then section of the function CustomScore_SM5b2 in 99 Score.lua. The rest of the code appears to be leftovers from waiei.

I added DDR A scoring to 04 Scoring.lua (really just copied the SN2 scoring already there and changed the values for Greats and Goods), and a DDR A scoring option appeared in the options menu. It seemed to work, but I'll modify 99 Score.lua just to make sure. Thanks!

I'd probably not bandwagon on him. I know he's a bit narked off with me but it doesn't look good to jump on his back for everything he does, yeah?

However, unless it's an obnoxiously large amount of stuff that's being copied, I really don't particularly care too much about the "avoid quoting the last post" rule. If I was calling people out on it that'd be all I'd bloody post.

I have a doubt with this theme guys, everytime I use my SM with this theme, I start getting lag, especially in the select music screen, and also in during gameplay with a bg video, its normal or only happens with my SM?

It doesn't happen for me. Change your screen to 16:9 in stepmania options and tell us if it worked.

I've had this problem, but only when I'm running a crapton of things in the background. Just make sure you're not downloading any large files or running any other games while you play SM.

This theme has far more Lua elements than some themes have, and that tends to make StepMania slow down on slower or older hardware.

I used some rage file reading or writing functions in some screen, maybe this is the reason.

There’s still lag on ScreenSelectProfile when switching profiles on even pretty fast hardware because you write the MyGrooveRadar values to disk even though you don’t need to do that.

I have a problem. In my DDR A theme the battery gives me a life less, I mean if i put 4 lifes i get 3 lives, if i put 3 lives i get 2 and so on. To such an extent that when I play the encore extra stage i would have to leave in 1 but i get in 0 and lose automatically. How can i solve this error?? help me friends

Yes but that version slows down in the step zone i do not know why... another question... How do edit the extra savior and extra exclusive list songs to add those that are not added and have their special entries?? What is the file to edit??
