So today I haven't been able to go from windowed to fullscreen Stepmania without the game crashing for some reason. One time it started in fullscreen but going to windowed generated the same error. I tried deleting the preferences.ini, to no avail, and checked if this happens with other games, all of which runs fine. Here's the error log for when it happens.
Help?

When I first went windowed to fullscreen, it gave me the same error. Just don't do it, but instead just enlarge the windowed screen

So I linked it to Avast Antivirus causing conflicts to my start menu and taskbar. So uninstalling it worked (there's still a few hiccups when going fullscreen, but it doesn't crash). I still have Windows Defender, so that's nice. But still, screw you avast. :<

Try using OpenGL, if possible?
