Hello to all,
A friend of mine that runs and arcade, wants to have the lastest DDR version, which is DDR A,white cabinet if possible
Since Konami ended the European location test with 0 news about distributing it on Europe, what OFFICIAL ways do they have to purchase DDR A in Europe (Spain)?
If possible, the USA version at least.
And finally, if they can buy it, will the machine be able to connect to all the e-amusement services?
Thanks for all the tips and help!

PD: By "official" I mean not piracy. They are open to purchase it to USA directly

If I remember correctly, DDR A is only distributed, not purchased. I've never seen a DDR A outside of a Dave & Busters. (They exist at Round 1 too, but as an Oregonian I'm still not sure those places exist yet) From what I can tell, there's a lot that goes into setting up a DDR A cab- eAmuse is required not only for online interaction, but machine registration and subscription fees. Sorry, but I think getting an official machine is pretty much impossible unless Konami pulls a change of heart as sudden as the Grinch...

Just like this guy said it's impossible what I would do is get a old DDR cab ie the X cabinet or those SuperNOVA era cabinets and upgrade those IF konami releases an upgrade kit for it

Europe can buy cabinets. It's just that after the UK location test, no one did.

Really?!
Can you give me more information about how should we do that? (who we should contact, etc?)

Thanks a lot!

More than enough! Thanks a lot, I'll get in touch with the manager of Las Vegas Arcade to gather more contact info

Thanks a lot ^^

NEW INFO:

I gathered some info already.
I'll share it with you, if anyone is interested

DDR A is distributed in Europe officially, for 12.000 pounds, which include 2 years of connection to konami e-amusement servers

We don't have 100% confirmation yet, but maybe Spain will be the first place to get DDR A in Europe officially.
I'll keep the post updated as soon I get more information

Thanks to all for your help!!

To my knowledge, Fungah also noted that DDR A cabs, in North America at least, must be purchased in minimum orders of 50. Round1 and D&B worked together to buy all 50 and distributed them in their stores. Let me know if anything has changed or my info is incorrect.
DDR is awesome! (:

Hi to all,
First, I contact with the manager of Las Vegas Arcade in UK, who hosted the location test,
later,we spoke directly with Electrocoin to confirm all the info I stated above.
Today I'll bring more information, since the manager of the arcade and electrocoin will talk about the bussiness

Thanks to all!

Oh dat me. Wassup. Hope it goes well.

Just to confirm the loc test went well and that DDR Ace is available in Europe.

It's up to Electrocoin to decide the pricing and if they want to advertise that or not. It's not my business to poke my nose in hence why i haven't said anything. Anyone who legit wants to buy a cab I will send them Electrocoin's way.

You are even better off asking Alan who runs the Vega arcade there and this very website we are talking on lol

I'd presume that's the price in Chilean pesos.

Still, even when A gets the formal get go here, I'm going to be VERY surprised if the UK gets more than about five, considering how used Euromixes still shift, and only for about a grand.

Apparently Electrocoin presented DDR Ace at ACOS London today? Apparently, it's priced at 17.500€ for the cab and an additional 2.500€ per year for eAmusement-support? If anyone was at the showcase, it would be great if you could confirm this.

Maybe it's too early to say this, but congrats on getting closer to getting at least one cabinet anywhere in Europe!

Very interested to know about any high skilled DDR players and if they can reach top 10 in the next or next-next KAC

"What If You Had A Gun?"
The price I saw said 15000 pounds (so 16722€) for the cab and 200 pounds (223€) a month for eAmuse. Though this didn't come from ACOS either, so I'm not sure if either of those prices are legit.

I was there today, price is indeed £15,000 per machine, presumably without tax. eAMUSEMENT costs are TBC at the moment.

The cab that was demoed was running on LOCAL MODE with network set to off in the test menu, I will post up some pictures later.

The version code was: MDX:U:G:A:2017091599
