Hello friends, those days I was working on a tool to help me to update the BGAnimations of older themes to LUA syntax, and I've got a helpful earlier version of the tool, I want to check interesting SM3.x themes to upgrade to SM5, to fine tune my tests. Actually I'm working with the Dancing Stage Fever theme of takuya, and I've got a decent progress versus time implemented on the conversion ,
I just want to know SM 3.x themes would be nice to port (Appart and including, the official DDR themes) especially themes that are different from the DDRMAX scheme, I know that most of the Sm3,x Themes are graphics swap of the default theme, but I know that SM3.x has some "rare jewels" on their history.
The themes are not need to be exclusively DDR related, could be from another games like beatmania just to say an example.
This is not a theme to suggest creating new themes, is just to suggest old, existing, and downloadable (or at least that you can share it if os not online) themes that worth to convert.
I will not convert every theme mentioned here, is just to get some ideas.
As always thanks for watching.

The SUPERNOVA series doesn't have good Themes on 3.x Takuya doesn't finished the SN1 theme, and the SN2 for 3.x theme was ugly the X and X2US were rebased, I was dumping X2 textures, the Sillybear sprites were ripped from print screen. I think ising X themes metrics could be done some SN theme metrics, they are too similar.Quote: SomethingRandom

Nice pick, I've tested the tony theme. A teaser screenshot: The themes need some work to check and add the widescreen support, but the tool does a lot of work, converting the BGAnimations

With this method is a lot easier to port the themes, basicaly I just have to update the LUA codes to include widescreen support
Just Got Splash Beats!

If you're still taking requests of themes to port, this one would be nice.

A wild k//eternal theme appeared!
That is a perfect theme to test, I've processed it, and most of the work is done
Here are some (if not almost all) of the actual screens:
I've fixed some bugs compared to the original theme, added Widescreen support, most of the screens are done I'm missing to update the metrics.ini and some elements position, but in overall have been ported it so nice. I'll try to finish it soon, I think it will be the first released port

ITG3 would be a little hard, but also ITG3 and Foonmix are not already ported to SM5? Also I don't know the Star Dance theme I will finish the AOI theme, and check later what could be the next theme to be upgraded.
