SOUND VOLTEX IV HEAVENLY HAVEN (AC)

Announced in today's BEMANI live stream.

I was honestly surprised by the sudden entrance of cody, even if we knew that III was nearing its end
Pretty pumped!
The overall feel is completly different though, pretty peaceful.
Well, I guess there is still quite some time before it hitting the floors though (at least december if not next year)

Here we go again.

Really passed a lot of time for this announcement (Gravity Wars was announced in 2014), specially for a game who gained a lot of attention and fans throughout this period. Atm i can't assume how it will be but i feel the theme will be similar to jubeat prop/IIDX HAPPY SKY.

About time. The fans back at Korea anticipated this for how many months and finally this.
Looks like the blue color scheme used in SDVX Booth is back. I was really hoping for green; the very green you'd see in Matrix text or Kryptonite
I think the overall feel for SDVX IV will be light in contrast with the current version's much heavier and more hi-tech feel. What do you think?

Well, other than the blue, there is multiple references to the sea, be it in the sound design or the kanji used.
Wonder how it'll translate in the game (I guess story and such will somehow continue though)
Also, will they introduce yet another new pattern this time (what can they do anymore though? The lasers going from side to side just like in old mario games where you can warp from the side of the screen?)

Also, how will they fill in the blank time before the release. There is no story left for Gravity Wars...Is there many contest song remaining yet?

I mean, wouldn't be the first time. I made the SDVX III thread as soon as the song contest was announced for it.

I'd rather not clog up the SDVX III thread with SDVX IV talk.

I hear light splashes of water and ocean waves at the end. This could confirm this upcoming version's main theme being underwater as methaniel mentioned earlier.

It'll probably be aquatic hi-tech. That sounds interesting.

I've got a feeling that the word "Abyss" may be applicable here, seeing how older songs get "Infinite" and "Gravity" difficulty levels.

The word "Void" also comes to mind. That's just me, though. I could be completely wrong.

So DDR A starts looking more like Sound Voltex

and then Sound Voltex IV starts looking more like DDR A

well okay then

(in all seriousness: this looks really cool, can't wait for more information, such as, you know, a name.)

I'm going to guess SDVX IV's theme will share the same theme as that of the Aquatic Capital course in Sonic Riders Zero Gravity.
