The name Beat Square is kinda funny because there happens to be a music game info site called BEAT SQUARE.

I'm more wondering how they are going to make it tweak things for you so even if you're the most skilled person on the planet you'll still lose 95% of the time? Like they did with silent scope by having that tweak your shot slightly in the prize round. Because if it was legit 100% skill then it's not going to be hard for some of the better players to go and grind the machines until they are completely empty.

It looks like it could be a normal slot machine with one of those "bonus" rounds where it's either earned or randomized and the game isn't 100% the skill-based part.
EDIT - Looking at photos, it looks like you have to collect "x" amount of "coins" to trigger the skill contest, which is the Jubeat styled game. The Super, Major, and Minor jackpots are then chosen based on the score you get.

I'm on the fence on at least "Beat Square". Give me plenty of gameplay, and I could see enjoying a game or two while possibly getting some money back. The problem is more the name than anything. Konami literally turned their own franchise name into a Chinese Bootleg Plug 'n Plague (yes, I intended that word), but what room do I have to speak? I'm not part of a masochistic company on the verge of bankruptcy.
Other than that, yeah. Typical gambling machines...and the only machine that stands out is Frogger, and that looks awful in game development standards. It's almost like it was thrown together with stock assets on a game maker or something.
But yeah. Beat Square still has my attention, which may be more than most people here. I kind of liked how the beatmania slot machine looked before, but only when I wouldn't have to spend 50,000+ credits to actually play a song. Maybe Beat Square will do the same...maybe not. I'll just wait and see for myself.

Apparently in Beat Square, according to someone who responded to me on the Let it Out thread when I posted a video of it I had found there because I was afraid of bumping this thread, you can only get to the Jubeat part of the game if you get the bonus on its typical slot machine-type gameplay...

I spy some Bruno Mars. Though they seem to have dubbed Gimme a Big Beat over it because copyright law is silly, or they realized that playing a completely different song over it makes it seem more exciting (because 24K Magic isn't exciting?)
These tournament cabinets appear to have cameras to allow a hand view on the top screen thing. That is something I actually wouldn't mind seeing on the real Jubeat.

Ok, now I'm intrigued. Hopefully, this comes out in a Vegas casino and/or a local casino near me so I can check it out.
