Yeah, so, that didn't happen. It's just a 15.

So I didn't actually know this until just now, but apparently Arcanos received speed changes on its WHard chart. Instead of staying at 96 BPM the whole time, it has a section where the notes move at 384(!) BPM.

I watched the chart for Catastrophic Dance being played on KAC.

Guys, it's the hardest one in the game. Comparatively speaking, Rebellio is hard due to it's ludicrous speed, whereas Catastrophic Dance is every single technically hard element RB has to offer packed into one chart.

Almost all songs up to the 3rd season.
So Chocolat Smile is the last one (that's still 19 revivals..)
Also Hinabitter characters became availble as character cards (+you get Meu's clothes for Pastel-un...he is fabulous when wearing it)

I don't think it's a cultural phenomenon but it is a Konami property that is heavily advertised in games like RB, jubeat, pop'n, etc. I understand how some people dislike it but to me it's inoffensive and I do like some of the songs.

While I'm not personally a big HinaBitter fan, I see people play those songs a surprising amount on the two DDR A machines I've visited out of state. My guess is that it really depends on your acceptance/enjoyment on moe, which I'm pretty certain pretty much everyone's obsessed with in Japan. I'm mostly indifferent, but that's mostly due to my distaste of lyrics in general. I would probably like them otherwise?

But seriously, as someone who's only been able to play RB+, it seems to me that they removed all the good crossover songs. (I mean, we're adding them back now, but they must have been removed at some point if we're reviving them...) Was there a specific point they did this at, or am I just new to the party?

Reflesia removed almost every KONAMI original at launch, they are reviving them gradually.

Reflesia reworked the game completely with all the songs needing to be redesigned to work with the new features. I believe all songs now have 4 levels of difficulty, you got yellow/purple hold notes where you have to hold on the yellow parts then let go during the purple sections, there are new fat notes that make a different sound effect, the scoring system was heavily overhauled (scores and combos are much higher now). I like to compare the game as RB's upgrade to what the XG series did for GF/DM.

Okay, that's actually pretty cool- I thought at first it was like some sort of repeat of DDRMAX. I'm now hoping that they release a mobile version so I can try it out myself.
