Where do you live? There has to be some form of an arcade around you...How sad.

Other than music games? Fighting games (Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Marvel VS Capcom, King of Fighters), some oldschool games (Snow Bros. comes to mind), and sometimes Time Crisis.
But otherwise, air hockey.

The nearest arcade would be about 40 miles away in a neighboring state. My local mall used to have an arcade, but it shut down about 5 years ago. (Not listed in Database) It used to carry EXTREME and ITG2, then SuperNOVA later on. (And of course, other games) Used to play them all the time.
And here is a link to my general location. It may as well be "Backwoods, USA".

And that place carried DDR/ITG after the mall arcade shut down.
So no local arcade for 3 years and counting.

In The Groove 2, ReRave +, and NeonFM for rhythm games.
Claw machines, and Slam-A-Winner X-Treme for redemption games. D & B probably hates me by now... Q\.*./Q

Do you happen to have a Bowling Center near by? If so chances are there are arcade machines there.

There's like one gaming center that has somebody's StepMania machine which is basically the only playable "DDR" machine around here. Beats nothing. Cheap as cheese, too.
Otherwise, I like Pac-Man, Galaga, some sort of racing game, Final Furlong (THERE IS/WAS STILL ONE in the next state), air hockey, and most certainly rhythm games. I basically try to play one of every game if I don't think I'll be back for a while. Ahhh, we used to have a bunch of rhythm games at one arcade and that was all I played (plus Puzzle Fighter for reasons)... until they were all sold off besides the two that are broken now. ;_; Story of many people, it seems.
Ohh, but I was rather let down when, in trying to play everything, our Dave & Buster's had zero fighting games to try. Had seemingly everything else, even some Pump mix with like no songs, but no fighting games. Is that normal for D&B? o_0

D&B doesn't have too many fighters near me either. I've always seen D&B as a place with high emphasis on Sport games, Racing games, high-risk/high-reward Redemption games, and Shooter games. I figure that the place to go to for Rhythm and Fighting games is Round One. I haven't actually visited R1, though, so take my thought with a grain of salt.

Other than the rhythm games, I play Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Time Crisis 4 or 5, Super Monkey Ball if they have it (I'll even play the weird redemption version of it), Pac-Man, and sometimes Mario Kart.

No arcades near me have rhythm games and are mostly just full of coin pushers. No fighting games either. I have to travel quite far for "good games".
Whenever I go to the local arcade, which isn't very often anymore, I just play Animal Kaiser and those luck-based ticket ones.

House of the Dead (any of them, mostly 2)
Time Crisis (mostly 5)
Ghost Squad
Mario Kart Arcade DX
Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2016 Olympic Games (not that bad, but not that good)
GRID
OutRun
Daytona
Ms PacMan and Galaga
Street Fighter series
Marvel vs Capcom series
Erm... maybe that Simpsons Soccer Game where you score on Homer because I used to play soccer and I rule at it haha.

I actually tried the arcade Pac-Man game recently, and found myself spending many more credits than I thought I would on it.

The point is, you don't mention rhythm games. You assume they're all unplayable today.I actually tried the arcade Pac-Man game recently, and found myself spending many more credits than I thought I would on it.

Last time I went to Dave and Buster's I played mostly DDR A but I did actually try this ball dropping (don't... don't quote me out of context...) luck game and I got the jackpot first try. I am the one the one the one the one...
