djmax trilogy which was released in 2008 had SC.I'm excited but at the same time I'd have rather them focused on finishing up p3 and DMO dlc first before this. Wonder what was the point of tapsonic bold if this was getting released. Game hasn't had any updates in months now, I think it's safe to to say its dead.
I don't know, Tapsonic never got online play [theres many references to multiple players throughout] so it never felt finished. The song navigation was meh, rankings went from PIU P2 per song, to per chart, it seemed like they were floating porting mobile but just stopped development.
I'm wondering what market research went into curled keys into ASDC <L;' Its the 3rd layout they've used as a default, from raised key middle, to flat, to a down curl. Though 8K was not popular in Trilogy so I'm kinda curious how this will play out. Even in the old online 7k was fractional to the 5k configuration. More people having access to mechanical anti-ghost inputs might help, but 4/6 will definitely be the most popular modes of play.

Well they are trying to get it caught up with the PS4 version. They said they will pick up right after they are done with Respect V.

I'm just glad RESPECT is getting anything at all right now. I've been loving the V expansion since it dropped and getting a chance to play shit like Attack on my PS4 is a pipe dream come true.

Can somebody that have some knowledge explain what's going on with the game update and the removal of some options including sync which will made the game unplayable, I read on the Facebook's comments, that some people were saying that it got something to do with Konami but there's no explanation to it as of why or what's the real problem

So I don't know the specifics about this particular case, but it's possible that Konami has some sort of patent on those game mechanics, which is for some reason something you can patent. Here's another very similar case. Namco held the patent on mini games during a loading screen from 1998 to 2015. This is purely speculation on my part, but it looks like these kinds of patents last close to 20 years, and since most Bemani games have recently passed the 20 year mark, any old patents for them could soon be renewed.

I would not think you could patent something as simple as being able to adjust sync in a music game, but here we are.

Then what about Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Taiko, Muse Dash, Deemo, Cytus, Voez, Pump It Up M, Literally any rhythm game that isnt bemani.. this makes no sense. If they are gonna get in trouble for using a note sync then what is the point.

I’ll come out now and say this is going to be the downfall of the game and it might get discontinued very soon. This has been a FATAL mistake on Rocky Studio and I may have to start calling them the EA of Asia! What’s next? You unlock music via LOOTBOXES?! I’m sorry but I just picked up the game a few months ago. It WAS great until this bruhaha. Another reason why jumping on the bandwagon so late in its lifecycle is DAMAGING to my well being!

Can we save our tinfoil hats for when Rocky Studio actually does something heinous? Some of these removals make no sense, but calling it the downfall of Respect? Lay off the cospiracy juice, man.
