I would be happy getting just a simple update with a few new songs + that DDR Memories song, but if they’re going all out they could :
-Announce a new mix and all the new songs from In Between and on be placed in that new game’s folder (a la 2014)
-Give Challenge charts to the newer Extra Exclusive
-Let DDR be the receiving game for the RB originals like they did when Beatstream died and Jubeat got an event for that. That probably won’t happen though, they’d have way to many originals to crossover compared to what Beatstream had.
Anyway, psyched for that anniversary update!

I have my bet on this (in order of how possible this will be):
- A set of new songs
- The DDR A OST
- A new event for DDR A, like Rinon's adventure but with the new EE.
- A new mix.
- A set of revivals from CS/Dancemania (ok, maybe not Dancemania but i expect some CS songs)

Keeping my hype in reserve right now. If we do get a new mix, I don't expect it to be a whole lot. I'll just hold on to maybe a new song or two.

Some new songs seems to be the most reasonable thing to expect. Maybe some remixes of songs from all the previous mixes. Hell, I'll even take just challenge charts to songs from old mixes. Any new content is welcome.

If it is a new mix, how does the update work? Will we get new cabs or do they just update the current DDR As?

Same here. Interface-wise, I sometimes wonder if they could cycle the sky background from day/afternoon/night patched in an update someday.

Konami created a new section on their DDR URL specifically regarding the 20th anniversary. Every time they've done this, it's for a brand new mix.
The countdown hype goes beyond what they would do for a major in-game event.
Lastly, Pop'n music is also celebrating their 20th anniversary, they also have a 20th subsite up and Konami has the exact same pattern regarding Pop'n releases. The latest game also received the last boss songs for that version.

And Konami also has URLs for specific events, most recently the summer event.
It can mean anything. If it leads to a new mix that's cool, but it'll probably be a page that stays up to commemorate DDR's 20th. The Pop'n page right now has some things about past mixes and a link to the characters being in Super Bomberman R. I doubt that page will just be the URL for the next mix if there is one.
