I had a lot of things to say about this and I stopped myself because of people like you, which is absurd because I expect this place to respect differing opinions. I mean...considering Konami is known to consistently screw people over, you think we're better off splitting this thread into criticism and non-criticism sections? Like I don't know what the hell you people want.
Maybe this is preferred for "Let It Out"...but it seems like this thread in particular has this problem the most. I know there's an echo chamber going on here, but come on! I mean honestly, I question why some of you are even in this forum if you have nothing constructive to say.
It's a single chart. It's a great chart, yes. But it's just a chart. I kinda get why folks are upset. I want all the content too, but I'm still of the mentality that I'm happy to have Ace in the first place. Also, there are folks who didn't even get In Between who aren't throwing as much of a fit as folks are about this chart. You are very much entitled to your opinion though, and nothing I say can stop that. Feel how you feel. I ain't mad at ya.

Some of the meltys people are having over Knight of Nights are completely overblown. I'm more just mildly annoyed about it. But I do feel like this is one of the few times where anger over a Touhou song is at least kind of justified because of how illogical the whole situation is.

I find it hilarious that a lot of the people complaining we don't get the charts are ones that would probably PFC it first try and never touch it again unless someone took their machine record.
I'm a bit upset that I can't play CDP since it is incredibly delicious, but it isn't devastating to me. I'm still just browsing a lot of Basic/Difficults I haven't touched and finding a lot of really good charts. I'm an odd one out there, sure, but I wouldn't be touching those challenge charts too often anyway. I still barely touch the Extra Exclusive challenges (except for Ishtar CDP).
The main reason for any of my complaints is we've gotten to the point of region locked charts. That's just bizarre, even more so than region locking NewGenStarFes or not allowing Floor Infection unlocks for US players until two days before it was over. It's just another really stupid decision.

I finally got around to playing and my opinion on IN BETWEEN still stands. It was incredibly hard to hear any vocals when the bass kick drowned it all out as well as all the arcade chatter.
But the EDP is a fantastic chart.

Ooh, Plain Asia! That was my favorite remix from that event, I'm looking forward to seeing it in DDR.

I mean we didn't post that it was Extra Savior to be fair.
On the other hand, I think we can look at a graphic and see the words "EXTRA SAVIOR" and understand what that means and how irrelevant that really matters when it'll probably take three rounds max to unlock for a majority of players on here.
Nekomata song is 5/9/12 on doubles. Plain Asia is 7/10/13.
