I checked when I was at Round1 today, and the Floor Infection songs are indeed accessible on NA DDR cabs (though the time period to unlock them ended about an hour ago). New Generation stuff is nonexistent though. I think the reason this happened is that the Floor Infection songs have no other unlock method (for ANY game, aside from using Rainbow Tickets for a temporary unlock in IIDX), but other cross-series unlocks have generally been added to EXTRA ATTACK (since the previous cross-series event was for DDR 2014) at some point after the event ends. So whenever Asia gets the songs added to EXTRA SAVIOR for everyone, we'll probably get them. Wouldn't be surprised if they're already on the machines, but inaccessible (since this was definitely true of the Floor Infection songs, despite them not being available until a few days ago, the NA version is still at 20161003).

Has anybody personally unlocked the ニュージェネ流星拡散フェスタ2016 songs in Japan and then checked the songlist in America? I'd expect that the songs would still be unavailable given how FLOOR INFECTION #10 was until October 20... but without confirmation, who knows?

From everything I've read, they aren't unlockable even if you have Japanese eAMUSEMENT data of the songs beforehand.

The way Konami handled this event in general was pretty bad. Especially since this event resulted in no other Extra Savior events from happening since it started.

Yes, we already know MDX:U:E:A doesn't have access to the 「ニュージェネ流星拡散フェスタ2016」 EXTRA SAVIOR folder. That's not my question.


Konami probably thought they were being transparent when:
1. the information entry was excluded from anonymous American IP addresses
2. if you did see the information entry, it excluded MDX:U:*:*

Is MDX:U:D:A:~. MDX:U:E:A:~ didn't exists.

If you unlock the songs during the event on machines that allow the event to be played, you cannot play the songs on US cabinets. I think by now if that was a possibility someone would have brought it up and people would have found someone to unlock songs for them in the US.

It's be great if there was someone that could communicate to the US players about what's going on. Right now this is just baffling.

Most people generally don't count Console Version PFC's as being arcade-legit PFC's. While I understand that DDR 2014 not being in the west meant it was physically impossible for Chris to get the first true PFC of MAX. (period) on Expert, technically the first AC PFC went to Dr. D:

Yeah, but Chris still has the first PFC of the Expert chart too. Don't care if you class CS PFCs as legit, the game debuted on CS, the PFC on its debut appearance is legit.
