I couldn't agree with you more! If this were at Round 1 arcades, I would play it non-stop. (There's a Round 1 opening up right by me this summer!) I'm actually a pianist and yet I like this game - the soundtrack and aesthetic are really appealing, and the gameplay may be a bit "lenient" and "causal" but it still seems fun IMO.

I'm also looking very forward to seeing videos with high-quality audio of all the new songs come out soon. "Neko fun jitter", "flee for free!!", "PLEASURE STREAM", "PF Flowing", and "Fly far bounce" interest me aside from the ALT song.

I agree with wishing there was a 'real mode' in it - would be a nice challenge. I think Keyboardmania had a steep learning curve because it was mostly 'real mode' all the time. With this, it helps cater to beginners. I like how easy it is to start and just 'ballpark' notes, but like someone else mentioned, the musician in me is kinda bummed there isn't any expert way to do it. I would love to do it the normal way.

Anyway, I do hope Round 1 gets it, too.

EDIT : I noticed some videos have a 'greyed out' difficulty. Maybe there is a tougher mode? Also something I noticed that it'll sometimes register individual notes visually (instead of the chunk of notes.... though looking at it now, I guess it could also just serve as a guide to show you how close you are hitting the blocks). I can't tell with how the controller works, but maybe there is some kind of more realistic mode?

IIRC you have to get a certain grade on the Hard difficulty to unlock the Expert difficulty.

Yeah, getting an A or higher on Hard will unlock Expert. Forte play will also enable all Expert charts by default, but you need PASELI to use it.

Oh my goodness, you don't know how excited I am for all the Nostalgia crossovers into other BEMANI games happening on the 15th!
So hyped to see Fly far bounce (and some other tunes!) in Pop'n; I hope they don't drop the ball and make the same character the character for every Nostalgia song. It would be nice to see the Nostalgia mascots, Noah and Croit, in Pop'n...but then again, they could do great things with all the piano-themed characters - I mean, we've got Grand Hammer, Takuto, Schall, Green, ALT...Okay, Alt would only be for if A Sunset Cat and a Tin Robot crosses over (Which I hope it does!!!)
Nostos in JB, IIDX, and RB sounds pretty neat too!

I predict, or at least hope, for the other 6 crossover songs that weren't confirmed to be:

I saw - a few other songs from the other BEMANI games are getting crossed over to Nostalgia in return. My half-asleep mind misinterpreted it as Nostalgia crossing 8 songs over to other games...

So I looked a bit into Fly Far Bounce since it's the only song getting crossed-over to a game I would normally find. I really like it, and I can't wait to see what other Nostalgia songs might cross-over to other games. (Mainly DDR, since that's the only Bemani game I can find) It got me interested in this game too, but again, I'd probably never see it anywhere.

Can someone translate the Japanese text in the new Nostalgia event? Are the songs unlocked by default or not?
