This is a feature I recently got working which allows you to see information about the currently selected edit chart. It isn't complete and there are a couple more things definitely I want to do, but I would certainly appreciate some feedback on it.

How do I install it?

Unfortunately, it's a little more involved than I would like.

Step 1: Download the SNCharacters pack. Extract it to your StepMania folder, that is, where Themes, Songs, et cetera are.
Step 2: Download the video pack.
Step 3: At this point you will have to manually assign the videos to the characters that use them. For example, to set videos up for Baby-lon, I would take Baby-Lon_1.mp4 from the video pack and copy it into the DancerVideos folder in the baby-lon folder in SNCharacters. If that DancerVideos folder doesn't exist, which is true for some of the characters, just create it. If you find other character videos for a given character, you can drop those in as well.

I don’t think anybody was planning on making a new video before release 7 is out. That said, we don’t know when that will be still.

We’re probably going to keep using the old system for single-colored characters because it’s more flexible.

I get it, I really liked the DDR SN3 theme, just in case, do you know any subject in which I use this type of images instead of the hexadecimal code for the color?

I don’t right now, and to be honest I’m not exactly sure what advantage that provides for single-colored characters. It’s necessary for the rainbow, I get that.

Actually, I would like the rainbow only for the characters of "PIX", and if the image extracted from the original game was used, I think it would be better, so each character could have its original color, besides I find it very difficult look up the exact hex code for the characters that I have XD

I can make a rar that contains each color extracted from the game, each one with the name of the character that corresponds to it if they want, I have no problem

What we did was give each character their original color through the color definition, so we already dealt with that.

Is this theme able to be used on 5.1?

Yep, runs on 5.1 beta 1 without a hitch, and it is our goal to support 5.1. I've been working on it in both 5.0 and 5.1 beta 1 for a while so most things ought to work. If there are problems, shoot us a bug report at https://github.com/MidflightDigital/ddrsn3-theme/issues.

Also, rage panda, there is no way to do it in the theme as we provide it. The next release will have some way to get that to work (probably allowing SNCharacters to either provide a color overlay or their own graphics). The source of the entire theme is available to you, so you could change Cutin.lua to provide this functionality in some way.
