OverRapid is a new rhythm game coming right now on iOS and Android from the Korean development team Team ArcStar.
The gameplay follows the typical lane structure as in IIDX, DJMAX, O2JAM, etc., with 6 lanes, the middle ones also using a scratch mechanic. However unlike most games in this format, the lanes are set in a V shape, which is said to be more comfortable and immersive for using your hands.
More about the game will be added after I start playing it.

I remember seeing the teaser for this game a while back when it was linked on the DJMAX Facebook page (I think).
Having only now just listened to the songlist x-fade, I have to say it's quite promising, and from the look of the demo video, the charts seem pretty good as well. I'll definitely be giving this game a try once it's released for iOS.

Gonna be that guy here. Forgive me.
It looks very generic, bland... forgettable. Soundtrack (or at least the stuff in the video and that soundcloud link) is much of the same generic stuff. Whole thing feels like a glamorized flash game. Not really digging it.

I'm sorry I couldn't tell that was Android, I don't recognize flop phones.

Why does this looks just like any other rhythm game? I mean tbh I thought it could be a bit more better but i'm just not feeling impressed about this at all.

Bump. This game is now out for iOS and already has been out on Android for a short while. 15 free songs and 10 unlocks! Woo! They're also doing a collab with Dynamix.
