Official Simfile To-Do List

Backgrounds of DDRMAX2 CS US and EXTREME CS JP songs (now they are stored in arcade section as CS songs) should be redumped, as they were taken from website and converted from JPEG to PNG.

This YouTuber did a bunch of 60FPS upscales of official BGAs, can/should simfiles be updated with them? Or are we sticking to officially ripped video files.

I have created some custom jackets for DDR Ultramix 2 as well as the actual jackets for Ultramix 3 as shown here. Is there any way to have them put in the official simfiles?

Because three panel mode exists in SM 5.3 Project OutFox, (and with the correct arrows, not the left-down-right arrangement from 5.0/5.1) the 3-panel charts from DDR Solo 2000 can be added to the DDR Solo 2000 pack on here to make the pack more complete.

The MAX.(period) simfile in the DDR 2014 AC category still has the wrong video. ENDYMION and Star Trail were like this too but they were fixed. Can MAX.(period) be fixed too so that it has its actual video instead of a 1280x720 video showing its stage?

Hey all!
I recently made a discovery that DDR GRAND PRIX has a bunch of high quality versions of the BGAs mostly for songs from X2 to A20 PLUS. I have uploaded some of these to my channel to show off the better quality the GP videos have compared to the arcade/console releases. Some songs from Ace to A20 PLUS have 720p videos while others are either 480p widescreen or have rare 60FPS animations.

If anyone can convert these BGAs to ZiV's simfile format, shoot me a message because I can only convert BGAs to MKV format (because Blender makes my AVI files like 500MB). Really hope this helps you guys out, because the arcade quality BGAs are garbage...

Is there a reason why so many DDR X2 songs have inexplicably upscaled graphics and backgrounds that for the most part, are just the jacket displayed on top of a blurry version of the jacket?



There is something about this that just seems so... wrong and off-putting, but moreos because it's part of the official simfile database.

X2 songs didn’t have backgrounds so something was just thrown together so those songs don’t use the fallback background.

HERO, DAM DARIRAM, IF YOU WERE HERE, and CAPTAIN JACK (GRANDALE REMIX) preferably should use their banners and backgrounds from DDR 4thMIX PLUS or EXTREME AC. After all, IF YOU WERE HERE, DAM DARIRAM, and CAPTAIN JACK (GRANDALE REMIX)'s 3rdMIX official simfiles do use their DDR EXTREME AC banners and BGs.

With A3 simfiles getting batch updated including their official videos, I feel it prudent to note that a handful of A20 Plus simfiles got passed over when it came to that particular step, still using their provisional videos from other rhythm game appearances or manual cuts in the case of licenses:

Additionally, some of the A3 simfiles could use some custom banners too, e.g. Closer to my Heart (jun remix). I wonder if it is okay to reuse some of the custom banners from the HOTTEST PARTY 1 and 2 categories?
