I know the main people can lock and unlock threads such as the moderates, but I feel like their should be a user lock where the original poster can lock his or her thread (like if they got their answer and they don't want anyone else to post in it)
Like the "User lock" will make it seemed locked but the original poster can unlock it if they wish.
And the admin lock where only the admins can unlock it for whatever reason..
I don't know, I feel like that will be a nice feature to have here, what do you guys think??

No.
Only mods should do that.

I disagree with Aegis. I've been on other forums where self-lock is a thing, and it tends to work pretty well. I don't see why someone wouldn't want their thread locked if it's essentially useless at some point, i.e. a question has been answered adequately, etc.

The thing is, this place isn't really busy. To lock or unlock shouldn't be much of an issue if it was really needed. What threads need to be locked? The ones that are either dumb or were created by accident.
