Wow, I discovered this just now!
I couldn't get it to run, though. It's looking for MSVCR100D.dll and I'm running Windows 10. What am I missing?
EDIT: I tried installing those C++ redist files but it's insisting that I already have a newer version installed.

I'm suspecting that MSVCR100D.dll is a debug file that wasn't included with the installation files for the C++ redist package. You'll have to search it on the web and download it. Also, if you're running a 64-bit version of Windows 10, then you'll have to install BOTH the 32-bit and 64-bit C++ redist packages (which I assume you have already done).

You need to consider 2 things before to start.
The first is that the Visual C Runtimes are not acummulable, that means that The 2017 runtime doesn't replaces 2015, or 2011 etc. Every runtime is independant, if you have installed the lastest version of it, it only will run the programs created with the lastest version of Visual Studio.
The second, if the program is a 32 bits application, you need to download the 32 bits installer, instead if you system is a 64 bits application
Deducting by the name of the DLL you need to install the redistributables from 2010 or 2012 32 bits.

I tried installing it and this is what it's saying:
EDIT; NVM I just downloaded the DLL file from somewhere and added it in the program's folder and that did the trick

This brings me to my a few more questions - I've read the simfile creation instructions from the Facebook page and figured I'd try to add a couple of custom songs. How do I program the background videos to be used throughout the song? Is it also possible to add my own? Also which format (resolution/bitrate/etc) is required?

I know this thread is old and possibly dead but is it still being updated and will there be a DDR project in the works?
