Edit: Never mind, I didn't read the posts before. >.<

Yeah UK and US versions will be the same with an unnecessary delay between release dates.

JP version will be completely different.

"DINGDONG♥HEARTS"
Looking at the content of SuperNova (CS) for the three regions, America was the first to receive it. We complained about th on-line exclusive songs and they included it for the other SuperNova games.

I'm seeing that America is the lab-rat in this situation. We're the first to get the game, we complain about song x and song y not being in it and they take the suggestions and include it in the other games.

By my observation, it's obvious that SuperNova2 JP (CS) will be a lot better than NA.

And to make sure that my topic is relevant to this thread:

The release of SuperNova2 in Japan will cause a massive back-order list on play-asia.Laughing Out Loud

Jeez, a lot of people here in the UK think you get GOOD licenses. You should be happy you get >=20, not <=10 we get here.

Look im just gonna end all the arguments about songlists and sum it up here:

Japan are happy

America arent happy but should be happy as they get DECENT or BETTER songlists

Europe is never happy and has no reason to be happy except for DS fusion which was absolutely perfect in my opinion, we had what... 12 licenses in DS Supernova 1, of which 2 of them (?) Were ported over to DDR Supernova 2 and all of our licenses FADE OUT rather than end appropriately now which really gets on our nerves.

I would have killed for Dance Dance and LEF on our supernova just as uch as you guys wanted all the things she said and take on me (Which you GOT)

Stop compaining!

We did get Take On Me on SN2 which is one of the few good licensed songs & UK is almost like SN & SN2 but just different licensed songs thats all

what? this is all my opinion, but better US versions than JP versions-

max
max2
extreme US(compared to festival, which is its real counterpart)
extreme 2(compared to strike, which is again the counterpart)

better JP versions than US versions

extreme JP(compared to extreme US, which isnt the counterpart but rather shares the name)
supernova JP

also, the ultramix and universe games are better than anything KCET has done in the past 2 years IMO. but yeah, the US gets hooked up most of the time because we get all those cool 3rd/4th/5th licenses that we havnt seen yet that japan wont get on PS2 because they have seen them already. we also get cool stuff like there you'll be showing up in extreme US, look at us showing up in extreme 2 and freckles showing up in supernova, as well as a few of that games licenses. konami is clearly trying to cater to those who like older content we havnt seen in US games as well as those who want current content, and those like me who want new to to DDR content in general which means we get hooked up lots.

people say konami doesnt listen because they seem to ignore game play elements, but they listen to us in the song department. as someone pointed out, we complained about online songs and they werent online in DSSN and SNJP. we also complained about all the missing SN songs and FELM being so hard for an unskilled player to get, and in SN2 we got the rest of the SN1 songs(plus the rest of the extreme songs) and FELM. people kept saying "more 10s" and in extreme 2 we had 4(3 songs total, one with heavy/oni), in SN we had 12(counting heavy/oni seperate and the online exclusive trim, 7 songs total), SN2 goes down in this department by having 6 10 foot songs and 7 10 foot charts, which is still more than the one boss song we used to get.

wow, one comment lead to another and i ranted :p but yeah, they do listen and we do get good games.

~Regarding SN1.5 CS US, the SN2 AC JP & the SN2 CS JP~

Courses linked to SN2 AC JP:
I wonder who's the sh!t was doing by screwing up the songs placing orders.

BARRIER (Screwed up song placing orders)
electricity energy (Screwed up song placing orders)
HARD CORE (Shhh, Konami forgotten to include into SN2 CS US, LMAO~)
popularity (Screwed up song placing orders)

Some songs on SN2 AC JP:
FIRE → 9/20 → SN1.5 CS US getting it
Arrabbiata → 11/1 → SN1.5 CS US getting it
STARS☆☆☆ (Re-tuned by HΛL) -DDR EDITION- → Zukin Wars Episode 2 winners/etc (Fully unlocked on 11/29) → SN1.5 CS US getting it
Bloody Tears (IIDX EDITION) → 11/22 → SN1.5 CS US NOT getting it
CaptivAte ~誓い~ → ??/?? → SN1.5 CS US NOT getting it
Votum Stellarum -forest #25 RMX- (DDR RMX) → ??/?? → SN1.5 CS US NOT getting it

Apparently, SN1.5 CS US won't get anything appear later than 11/22~
Other than "Planet song", they only get STARS☆☆☆ (Re-tuned by HΛL) -DDR EDITION-

SN2 CS JP will have dazzle & Malacca for sure~

Hang on, if we get the same songlist as US, why didn't we get it for SuperNOVA? I just it was a possiblility considering that we got Trim and all those other online songs.

What do you mean?

Japan got all the online exclusives.

The Europe and North American games only differ in licenses and that's it.

DOESN'T REALLY MATTER wasn't an online exclusive.

Beautiful Life we all knew wasn't going to be in a PS2 version anyway as that was only for an movie event in Japan.

Huh, sorry I don't get what you're trying to say.

We definitely won't get the same songlist as the North American version of DDR SN2. Tongue

Every version its different, so we can see other licenses in the differents regions... But anyways im waiting all the versions to make my judgement...

Is that from somewhere, or is there any place I can hear that song?
I haven't come up with anything in searches.

It's the opening theme from KONAMI's Time Hollow (Nintendo DS) game that's due to be released next March.

Time Hollow (Promotional Clip)

I think that's the theme in the background... though I can't be 100% sure as no one knows the song.

Fusion was a huge improvement over Fever (face it, it was MegaMix 1.5, no?), but for me, the greatest mix was DS MAX. But that's just me, someone who actually liked Dance Master Mode. Agreeing with the licence porting, but that's been happening since Unleashed 2/3 (in particular, Wonderful Night and Feels Just Like It Should).
It works both ways, too. Move Your Feet, Kids in America, MyMyMy and quite a few others were on US CS before the EU got them.
