PinkiePieGamer, I mean this in all seriousness. You're 14 now. I'm 28, and I vividly remember being 14. It sucked a lot. 16-18 are waaaay better, so you've got a lot to look forward to.

The biggest advice I can give you is to learn when to take things personally, and when not to. You'll pick it up over time. Everyone is just as full of hopes and dreams as you are, as full of passion, and feelings. People express these in VERY different ways. Comments are a reflection on the commenter just as much as they are on the target. And, misunderstanding them will happen, a lot. Do your best to control your reaction to events that you can't change, and don't be afraid to ask someone what they really mean. It can be awkward, but you learn more about a person in the awkward times than you ever will otherwise.

Also, we all know this is mostly for attention. That's what a lot of people do at this age. You should see my old live journal... But on that note, don't throw a community you care about away because it pissed you off. The people I love most have pissed me off more than anyone else.

People out there will be dumb, it's your choice to listen to them for what their comment(s) are worth in your personal opinion. A grain of salt? Maybe. Will you take some comments seriously? Up to you.

Banning would mean you personally did something wrong in the site that would imply the ban in the first place, but as far as I can remember you have done absolutely nothing wrong in the forums to assign a ban towards your account.

Taking some time off from the site helps a ton, I barely post much here anyway but I lurk around just to see what's up. Come back when the time is right, you're not really obligated to stay here.

Just about every site with an online community will have at least a few trolls. There's no way around it. It's a part of the Internet; just like how every school has at least a few bullies.

I used to be a regular on this site a few years ago, until some people pissed me off in one of the threads. What did I do? I stopped logging on for a few months; and then everything was like normal again. Not that anybody cares.

You can still view the threads anonymously if you choose to do so. I do this about 99% of the time.

And don't take cyberbullies seriously. Trolls are gonna troll.
