Moving on to more relevant things, I guess e-amusement is back in D&B? "Toronto" was mentioned instead of individually listing both branches so I guess that means both GTA locations?

Sucks to hear about Oakville. Vaughan's situation defeats the purpose of e-amusement being back lol

Do you hope a R1 outlet will open in Canada sometime?

Hope, yes, but whether will it realistically show up is probably a different question altogether.

Any Canadian residents who've played (or is at least aware of) SDVX?

Nova Scotian here. I started playing DDR when I was young, and quickly got skilled at the game for someone my age. I've lurked this site for a while but only recently created an account.
Any players here from NS, or any Atlantic Provinces for that matter?
I was very pleased to find out that there's a DDR machine in the province back in march 2019, once things get back to normal I'd like to play on it as much as possible. Big Grin

Though unlikely, I think it would be awesome if a R1 or D&B opened up in Halifax. I think it would bring in a lot of new players if the machine(s) were to be well maintained.

I think Toronto would be a more ideal candidate.

Yeah For sure. Maybe Montreal too. Pre COVID I would travel there about twice a year and play on a SuperNOVA there. There actually used to be a DDR USA (kinda ironic, ha) in the city too, about 5 years ago, which I’ve played on a couple of times.

I was hoping that Round1 will open in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, & Quebec City, but it's a shame. Had to visit Vancouver, BC so I can play rhythm arcade games in eSpot, CHQ, & Aberdeen Centre.

What was your experience like at CHQ? I’m headed to BC next month and am planning on playing there since it’s the closest to where i’m staying.

CHQ is a pretty good arcade when it comes to quality of the machines. They have an upgraded DDR A, a modded ITG cab, PIU which is probably the best quality cab I’ve seen, and Groove Coaster. However, if you want to feel like you’re playing at a Round 1, Espot in Richmond will be the place for you. You’ll have to ride the skytrain a little while, it’s at Aberdeen. It’s literally a Japanese arcade, with almost every relevant rhythm game. They’re missing Dancerush only, but will be adding Ongeki and Wacca by the end of the year.

Ok, Thanks for the heads up. I definitely want to hit up at least one of those places during my stay. Cool
