Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here knows if there are any simfiles that are long, like 10-30 minutes in length(maybe even longer, who knows?)? I heard of them and am curious to play them. Are there simfile artists or packs out there that have these files? I remember a member on here was making an hour-long simfile but I think the project was ditched. Any help or direction to these files would be appreciated! Tongue

iStep has The Gammer Mix at around 27 minutes for the cut, mute's sims 7 has a 15 minute one too but it's all stream so yeah.

There was some member who made 10 mintute/30 minute/4 hour trance stream files, those links AFAIK are down though (i might still have them on my other PC though). I'm sure there's other's I'm forgetting

Thanks for the replies! But are there any that aren't necessarily "boss-style?" Like they aren't stream-fests or stamina runs but can still give you a good sweat(150-190 bpm, maybe a level 9 or easy 10 overall stepchart-wise?) Sorry I don't know how else to explain it. Confused

I'm not aware of any. Playing for that long is gonna be more tiring than most 9-10s no matter how light the step density is; long stepcharts like that really wear on you after a while.

You could probably get away with like some cut option in the mods menu to keep it at 8ths or whatever if that's what you're looking for.

"also known as MEGAtive"
I have a simfile called PARANOiA Ultimate and it is 19 minutes long. Its BPM are still necessary though (I see PARANOiA Survivor MAX as necessary though).

I think most of the marathon length files are going to be geared toward harder stuff. Why not take the time to make yourself some non-stop courses, either based on BPM range or dance level?

Well, to be fair, the reason I rated mine an 11 was because of a few spots that are worthy of it. There's a lot of highs and lows in the sim that could constitute for way easier than that.

That's one reason I chose it because I know people need a break while doing things but there are those that want to continue where they are so they don't lose momentum. It's kinda like how you go out running for as long as you can then walk it off for a bit or jog it off.

Kumikyoku 'Lucky Star Douga' / Lucky Star no Minna

Beginner 1 Light 3 Standard 6 Heavy 8 Challenge -

Warning, big download: 137MB

Hey, this is what you are looking for. This file is collaboration between me and Chmurek which we have made around 3 years ago. It's medley of Lucky Star songs upped to 172 BPM (it's official remix). The file is 15:31, contains 4 difficulties and has background video. I didn't upped it onto ZiV before because it's huge.

Have a nice holidays Smile

Like what Hiryuu stated with his file, its fine if it gets harder in certain parts than others, variety is good. Iv'e made some non-stop courses but because of the breaks in between each song I wanted something continuous, so I wanted longer sims to compensate. They don't have to be really long but I would prefer they would be longer than a standard DDR cut. Tongue

These definitely exist but they're rare. It's a shame there's no really easy stamina packs though. Or even a collection from the few that are available for that matter.

Stamina ITG packs are starting to get full difficulties, these are probably slightly out of reach to you but you can give them a look.

Edit: I just played the one 9ft chart because I was curious what it looked like. Probably right up your alley; it's all 8th notes at 128bpm except for little 16th sections at the beginning and end.
