They've had the SN2 for at least 5 years, and they just got a PIU machine just over a year ago. The chances of them upgrading their DDR machine are slim at best.

The person who I talked to (probably the manager) said corporate controlled the machines they had, and the arcade can't upgrade at their own will. The manager guy didn't even know that they had newer machines.

I will be in San Diego in a few weeks and I look Forward to Play DDR there! Hope all the recommendations are correct!

Bump! Cause D&B is getting DDR A (I honestly thought it wouldnt, but I am SO happy that it is)
So I'm gonna likely go there next week, as soon as it gets it up and running. If anyone wants to meet up, that's cool.
Also, the SuperNOVA 2 machine is running great still. The pads have been adjust they work properly. I can definitely tell that D&B takes care of the pads on it. I'm wondering if they will keep the machine when DDR A comes.

What's their policy at D&B in San Diego? I went there several times, but only recently did I get stopped to show my ID (to check if I was 21+).

I'm pretty sure it is any age until 11:00 pm. I think they enforce 21+ after then.

Huh... I was asked to show my ID when me and my friend went at around 2 PM, on a Thursday (I think). I was told by some of my friends that it was because of the manager that day(?), but I'm not sure. I'll look into it on my own time, but I'd be down to meet up with you, dark <3

Cool. I'll call them on Wednesday to see if they have it, and I'll probably check it out if they do. I went there today and someone said it will be there in under 2 weeks. The exact date I was told by email was the 12th, so we will see 
The machine is up! Sadly, no network connection yet. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

I'm really glad too. I've seen plenty of experienced players since the release of DDR A, and also some newer players too. #DDRisnotdead

I was at Dave and Busters earlier today, it was good to see some other experienced players there. The half-off Wednesday deal is especially great because you have to spend an extra credit for the chance at extra savior.
Also, not sure if anyone else can confirm they had this issue, but me and a couple others were having a hard time getting the card reader to work, and with the timers it made it really difficult to juggle e-amuse login and putting in credits.

There were a couple instances but resetting the machine seemed to work.
