Yep Free Loader is out. However, it dont work if you update your wii. Since Nintendo made an update that allow you NOT to play import games on the wii console. |
Oh dear. Which update? I updated mine i think 2 weeks ago.
Super weak.

NOTE: Nintendo Wii Freeloader works with all current versions of Wii firmware at the time of its release. No guarantee can be given of compatibility with future firmware revisions so if Online Updates are performed on your Nintendo Wii system, this may cause Wii Freeloader from functioning correctly

freeloader US ver.
My guess it doesnt work on the March 20th updates. Rumors going around that Nintendo making new updates to block free loaders.

Oni-91: Let me rephrase that - I thought the symbol was going to be phased out. Of course I know it's been around awhile; I used to live there =P

Guys, if you're worried about updates disabling Free Loader, you better not buy any new Nintendo games either. I have no internet connection at home, and so far, every wii game made by Nintendo has updated the firmware before playing for the first time.

Boo, I forgot about that.
I guess I find another way to play imports.

Hi al2k4,
Did you receive any reply from Konami about the Edit mode? I am suspecting there might have been some miscommunication within Konami... or is there?...

I didn't get a reply about the >50 songs or EDIT MODE thing. So I guess they don't really know what's going on.
The CS division in the UK is really really poor.
Bump:
Then after I pointed it out this week:
I swear, the people behind the KONAMI EU don't really care for DS games at all.

Dancing Stage fans eagerly awaiting a Wii version can now rest at ease as their wish has finally been granted. Featuring over 50 tracks spanning some four decades of music, there’s a huge variety of tunes for players to strut their stuff to. Thanks to the compatibility of the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk, a whole new dimension has been added to Dancing Stage Hottest Party. Total body interaction is now possible during the game using the twin controllers and it is now possible to have four player simultaneous play to really get everyone involved. It is also possible to send obstacles to rival players in the Battle Mode using the Wii Remote and a well placed swipe! There are a host of new modes focusing on the multiplayer element to ensure that the Dancing Stage experience stays fresh for many months to come. New gameplay twists and a host of entertaining mini games complement the main dancing action and offer a different challenge to expert players. The phenomenally popular Workout Mode from other versions of Dancing Stage is here again and players also have the opportunity to customise their own dance steps in the Edit Mode to make bespoke routines a possibility! With only half of the songs available at the start, the emphasis is on the players to practice and perfect their skills as there are a huge amount of unlockable bonuses in the game from the extra songs through to new computer player challenges and new outfits. * Over 50 songs from the last four decades of music * Total Body Interaction using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk * Four player simultaneous play * Workout mode to help you get in shape * First Dancing Stage title for Nintendo Wii |

I'm now seriously considering not buying another DS game until Konami stop fecking us over. And it seems that instead of doing something for Europe in their anniversary year, they'd rather shit on us.
And note how they still say over 50 songs.

I email Konami of America about why DDR HP have an error, and they never reply back to me. Nintendo told me to contact Konami since it's the area from the game.
It says : Error has accord... Please Turn off the wii and read the wii manual.
It happen when I play the mode for the first time(the mode that unlocks songs, forgot the name of it). Then I went back to the same mode, it plays fine. I tried the same thing on my cousin's wii and it did the same thing. This happen when DDR HP ask us to install the updates.

Then it's probably a disc read error.

Yeah I think it's either the disc or the wii. When I first put in the wii and started to play, it shows the disc error, then after I turn the wii off, it works again.
