I know this might go unanswered within the community, but can the guys at Chewy Boba Fullsail turn off Stage Break on Pump Fiesta 2? It's actually annoying me at the fact I lose my credit immediately just because I either picked the wrong difficulty or just run out of breath/stamina during a song. I don't mean to sound annoying or anything, though I love the place and keep going back because Pump it Up, but the stage break is almost a deal breaker as I evolve as a Pump it Up player.
Spoke to James, he will correct it soon, as well as the fix for one of the wheels/corners of the pad.

ITG2 set up at Chewy already. The pads were terrible (which was weird considering 3-4 weeks ago I played on that very machine and it was perfect) but were fixed the last hour before the store closed.

Expect the pads to be fixed up this week, alongside the USBs finally being connected to allow custom songs... finally.

ITG2 has been removed from Outer Limitz in Orlando. Kiddjimmy bought the machine, and ultimately moved it to Chewy Boba Fullsail. I actually came over when he was removing the machine. He was considering keeping it for himself, but he reconsidered.

(Personally, I'd like it if it were at the Chewy Boba by the Florida Mall.)

The OpenITG cabinet at the NASCAR go-kart place is terrible as ever. The 1P side is marginally playable. The 2P side isn't playable at all.

The SN cabinet at Whirlydome is weird. They replaced the screen with an LCD monitor. It plays okay, sctually. Definitely passable if D&B isn't working.

Speaking of, D&B is frequently suffering network issues. Twice in the past month, DDR A has been down solely because of networking issues. Sometimes it's up, but the network frequently goes out. The machine still plays perfect otherwise.

The router to D&B fried a few weeks ago and I think that may have something to do with it. It was actually much worse at the end of May when it would take 30 minutes to even complete one set.

ITG2 at Chewy Boba now has a bunch of packs installed as well as custom song support, however the front USBs are busted. No idea when that'll be fixed.

It's been years since I played DDR.

I went to Arcade Odyssey to play DDR Extreme and I am sooooo out of shape. I also lost whatever technique I had because I felt myself turning alot through my right knee instead of through my feet.

I spent my Saturday playing DDR Extreme at Arcade Odyssey.

It feels nice to have my name pop up on the high score list during the demo loop :J)

I went to play at the Arcade Odyssey again.

I finally got 1st place on POP Normal Doubles and I have taken a liking to using this site's score tracker to track my progress on the songs and courses. Still out of shape though

Just added a new arcade spot: Chewy Boba USF (Tampa, FL)

Team Oni (our group) brought in DDR X2, X-Men AC, and MvC2 to the spot.

Enjoy Smile

Nice! I'll have to check it out when I go to Tampa in a few weeks. Was already intending on trying the Pump at DnB.

This wouldn't be the same X2 that disappeared after Disney Quest closed, would it?

Nope, this machine is a second gen Korean cabinet (I believe). Also that machine went to an arcade in Ocala, FL from what I heard.

What's up fam, Fury here! Long time no see!

Recently at Chewy Boba Winter Park, Pop'n Eclale arrived not long ago but at the cost of the Pump Fiesta 2 machine going away. I'm already in love with it and I might just be going a whole lot more regularly. If you want to find me at Chewy Boba, I'll be there every Wednesday afternoon or so for now. (that might change, PM me if you don't see me) I hope to rekindle my love for rhythm games as time goes on as my main hobbies are not at the best right now.

I hope to meet more of you guys soon!

(ugh, I barely post here because life, college, work, etc.)

I dropped by the Muvico on 49th street in Hialeah to check out the DDR Extreme they have there and the entire arcade section is closed off. One of the employees told me the operator of the arcade division no longer works with them and Muvico is currently looking for a new operator.

The machines currently inside there may be moved once an new operator is picked out.

All this arcade death is that I'm no stranger to, the Pump NX machine was removed from the Aloma Bowl and Pump Fiesta 2 has been taken out of Chewy Boba Winter Park. It's kinda depressing... I really hope to own a DDR/ITG machine someday, for the preservation of the genre should arcade death become ever more of an issue than ever soon.

The owner of the place didn't want it anymore, it took up 'too much space', so they had my friends take it away. Sucks but, I don't think we can argue with store owners since we technically put machines on their property :/.

Yeah, I suppose that's fair. Thanks for the info, cause the guy I asked mumbled something about how it 'had' to be taken away as if it was the machine owner's decision.

I was sad to see it go as well. I got wind of chewy boba tampa location getting rid of that dance dance revolution machine a while ago. I know the owner of both the machine and chewy boba personally, so I was wondering why chewy boba owner decided to take it out. I thought it could have been many reasons, so I asked him:

I wanted to know why you are taking the dance machine out? Did you want to put a different dance game in there of your own? Do you need more space? Or maybe the owners are giving you a hard time? What's up?

He responded with:

"The biggest reason is that we need more space for tables. We're going to be adding two 4person tables or four 2person tables very soon due to the limited seating during peak hours."

I replied:

I had a feeling it may have been because of space. That would definitely help with the amount of customers for both boba and tns events. We will miss that machine though.

(Tns =Tampa never sleeps, a tournament for fighting game players)

Owner:

"Yea, we're already bigger than all the other chewy locations, so we didn't think space would be an issue, initially. After we had been open for a couple weeks, we realize we miscalculated."

And I understand his point on that. The tns events and customer head count for boba can both be a bit much in the Tampa location, and needs space to help with the situation.

Chewy boba orlando does the same thing (they also have two dance machines, and 3 other arcade machines in their location. Smaller space than the Tampa location as well), however, I've heard that they don't get as many people as the Tampa location.

I pretty sad tho, I am also said for the owner of the machine too. He's gotta put it somewhere else now T.T

I'm there all the time and I (and usually my brother and sometimes a few friends) never see that many people coming into Chewy Boba Winter Park, let alone anyone playing Dance Games. I haven't been to the location near UCF, so I don't have much in the way of a comment on that. But it seems that the Tampa location is doing great! Too bad the DDR is gone from there but they're doing great along with the fighting game crowd that you mentioned.

Speaking of which, I tried using a USB on Chewy Boba's Winter Park ITG machine to load a custom and it failed? I'm not entirely sure how my USB drive is formatted, but I know for sure that I set it up properly with some how-to videos on the issue.

On the plus side, you can now insert dollar bills into the PNM machine at Chewy Boba Winter Park now. No more pesky wasted coins for credits!
