Official Simfile Error Thread

"Negotiate with Love" from DS Unleashed 3 is missing from the official pack.

Not exactly simfile error but more of a category error / question?
I redownloaded all the files from site and have noticed some differences between 4th Mix from DDRUK and the new 4th Mix.

So for example HYSTERIA can be seen in 4th mix. According to remywiki it is said that it released originally in BASS MIX. So why it is in 4th Mix? Same thing with few other songs in this folder.

Another thing I wanted to ask - why files have mixed difficulties with X and old scale? It makes no sense. And if the packs are really made to be arcade accurate, shouldn't they be accurate to mixes in which they are? It looks silly and confusing.

I know somebody will get to this, but I just want to point this out. The original version of Let the beat hit em! is also featured in DDR Solo 2000, and it's missing.

Never mind, I didn't realized that it was also release under the official series as well.

The song made it’s first appearance in DDR Solo 2000 which was released in December 16th, 1999. Link Here

I think some songs are moved to other categories for complying mainline arcade series and the latest release.

On DDR Hottest Party USA, CANDY (UFO Mix) is totally off sync.

Also in the same pack Rhythm Is a Dancer and Love Shine (Body Groove 2006 mix) still have their MP3.

the "12th" sync in measures 48.5-49.5 of SWING IT ESP/EDP actually seems a bit closer to this

The ratings for both EXPERT charts of INSERTiON (Machine Gun Kelly Mix) are incorrect. ESP should be a 7, EDP should be an 8.

The Centre Of The Heart's title is written in the current SM file as The Centre Of The Heart (STONEBRIGDE CLUBMIX) When it should be STONEBRIDGE. Just saying

In the Universe 3 category, all of Siege Engine's charts are 2 mearsures early.

Castlevania (Freestylin' Mix) DOUBLE EXPERT starts 1 measure too early. EDIT: This has been fixed, thanks

祭 (J-SUMMER MIX) (SuperNOVA) DOUBLE DIFFICULT & DOUBLE EXPERT are both incorrectly using only 12ths when it should be a mix of 8ths and 12ths. This is how DDP & EDP are supposed to be. As an example, the last part of EDP in the simfile looks like this:



when this part should just be 8ths.

The thing that bothers me is that most OGG files found in many simfiles on this site cannot be converted to other formats when using dBpoweramp Music Converter. I think the sample rates being 44099 hertz is what's preventing a successful audio conversion. Is it possible to update this website's simfiles so they all use a more standard sample rate (44100 or 48000 hertz) and can be converted by dBpoweramp?

Can't you choose your own sample rate during conversion? I had to make sure all my ogg's convert to mp3 with a 44100hz sample rate so they don't desync or sound low quality sometimes in BeatX for Android

I can, but dBpoweramp always gives me errors on converting the OGG files, regardless of sample rate settings.

The steps are based from DDR X AC data and were the supposedly-fixed version if the song was not removed in game. The same goes for the original MATSURI from 5thMIX.

Unfortunately, one chart has been missed, Remember You S-Basic chart. It was only featured in DDR X during beta testing. Rumors of it existing is on its RemyWiki page. However I'm not sure we can still get it.
