I used to play BMS on Stepmania 5, until I got Empress and a controller. I still play it, but barely.

I play, but I'm pretty bad... Like worse than I am with regular IIDX, and that says something.

Used to be one, back when Delight Delight Reduplication used to be the main StepMania (and all stepfiles were BMS without sound effects!). Kinda peaked around beatmania Complete Mix 2, could never play 7-key as well as 5-key. Does make me curious about how beatmania/IIDX notecharts aren't mapped to DDR simfiles yet, at least (even where they're partial cuts, practice is practice!).

cool, do any of you guys play Lunatic Rave 2? i'm a pretty high-up-there player (i can do level 10s at least) but it doesn't hurt to swap net ranking names anyway

Comfortable with 9s, yet it varies alot specifically. Never done scores over internet though, and I dunno how to
I have posted two LR2 videos on my own minor YT channel, if you're interested

if you have the latest LR2 (beta3 100201), just check the LR2 InternetRanking box. if you don't see it, you probably don't have the console in English. the language settings are in the top bar underneath the title bar.
the two checkboxes under that are for rival data and individual song ranking tables, respectively.
also my channel's chock full of LR2 videos, it's linked in my signature

*raises hand*
I love playing Lunatic Rave, I even got my JKOC connected thru USB and it works nicely. I have cleared a few 11s (and only one 12, Innocent Walls Hyper), but I don't have motivation to keep improving, with the home version series being dead and everything. Also, the latest IIDX games haven't been as good (musically) as they used to be, IMO.

I play BMS, I got the crappy EUROPE controller tough
http://i.imgur.com/omPzV.jpg
like there I tried to search for hours but I cant find anyway to get a KOC shipped to the netherlands D:
so I'm guesss I'm stuck on this thing, I could get a DJ Dao but mah so expensive
I tried lunatic rave 2 and some other simulators out there, and some people might disagree but the best simulator I know is bbr
other than that its best to use a HDD rip, because man the timing in LR2, it pisses me off, I even rather use this sm5 version I have dedicated to iidx instead of LR2, but if you want to use it, go for it.

I'm also BMS player.
Even though now I used BMS instead of my LR2 because the computer was fixed a few days ago.

BMS player here. Currently shuffling between the officials (working on kuro 12s), BMS of Fighters packs, and that insane BMS pack (currently at 5s there).

try making the offset to +20 ms, that makes things more manageable. hell, even lavalse (LR2 maker) does this, i saw it in a screenshot for a version he was working on, lol.

Is it me or the LR2 timing windows is much wider than BMS?
Oh, and we also have to make a BMS/LR2 competition anytime.
