The border between reality and fantasy has been broken at last. Dangerous stepmania forces are seeping out of Gensokyo and into the real world of dance games. SpootyBiscuit, WinDEU, joe#2, and Mint join together to capture this energy in the form of twenty simfiles.

The full pack is now finally out! It contains 20 songs (5 song submissions from each person) available for download. Each song has either an SX or DX written by the submitter, and all files contain full singles and doubles charts. We hope you enjoy the full pack! (The whole pack can be downloaded by clicking the pack banner, or individually downloaded by song banner).

The pack opens with a light, upbeat track from Halozy! While only a 9, the chart has some technical aspects, with varied rhythms of 12ths and 16ths, as well as some 8th note footswitches, making it a fun, memorable chart.

It's the Bad Apple!! remix you probably hate at this point but remixed again to actually sound pretty cool! Floor6 does a great job in his rendition of this famous Touhou song, and the steps should keep you on your toes. Footswitches are fun, right? Also, when the song slows down, don't be left in the dark!

This is the fastest song in the pack, clocking in at 214 BPM. A nice, hard-hitting speedcore song with scattered 16th bursts, and a mellow-sounding slowdown in the middle to contrast the rest of the song's chaotic nature.

Pretty neat hardcore arrange of both Border of Life and Necrofantasia by ARM & Roughsketch. At 204 BPM with plenty of jumping action on both the Single and Double charts, these are deceptively tiring 12s. Do your best to please the mistresses though, lest they give you a good Beating afterwards.

T.Stebbins brings us this enchanting eurobeat song about love, liberty, and the pursuit of Remilia. With this special cut from the artist himself, this high energy song will keep you moving with its synths. Be sure to check out the Double Medium too, where you might just be chained up too!

A heavy-hitting synth metal track from Dark PHOENiX, fans of artists like SSH should check this out. Filled to the brim with 16th bursts (with a few 32nd sprinkled in), as well as some longer 24th runs in the solo, this is one of the more challenging songs in the pack. Watch out for the gradual slowdown at the end!

A very creative take on the extra stage theme from Imperishable Night, this song combines a complex swing beat with intricate piano and saxophone lines that are sure to get every Touhou in the jazz club groovin'. A definite must-see for anyone who is a fan of charts with complex, technical rhythms!

From REDALiCE to your ears comes this hardstyle remix of Ran Yakumo's theme, and from Mint to your feet comes a whole mess of jackhammers. This hard-hitting song mixes it up with all sort of step patterns that'll definitely provide a bit of a challenge for everyone. Be sure to avoid all the fox bombs on the left and right!

Really upbeat happy hardcore tune that I think provides a nice contrast to the original mellow-sounding track from PoFV. Fairly routine stuff aside from the 1/3 tempo drop in the second half of the song, as well as the chart getting more and more chaotic as the melodies progress.

Man, that is a LONG title hahaha. Here we have the opposite of the above: A really mellow track to contrast the rather upbeat nature of the original song from Subterranean Animism. This is by far the slowest song in the pack, going at a steady 69 BPM. Don't let that fool you though; the charts have plenty to offer in terms of lots of 24th runs, and even a small 48th run!

Really sick house arrange of the timeless classic of U.N. Owen Was Her?. This song and its charts have plenty to offer. It has all the melodies of the original, but when it revisits the first verse near the end, prepare for a wild ride as it mixes things up with a very broken-sounding climax. After that, you're home free with a very calm final verse to wrap things up.

The final stage from the first installment of Spooty's couples tournaments makes a return here, this time with full singles and doubles charts! This one's practically two songs in one, with an electro-house/sIck wUbZ section chock full of 24ths at 128 BPM to begin, and a psytrance portion heavy with 16th runs at 145 BPM to finish it out.

Jun.A works some sick touhou devil magic by making a nice synth heavy arrange to Seiga's theme from Ten Desires. The song is quite streamy, and has a few 32nd bursts thrown in as well as a solo section later on.

This one is Letty and Cirno's combined themes remixed to the tune of DJ Taka's Snow Storm. It's a wintery mixture of all kinds of step patterns, turns, and freezes that'll definitely put you to the test. Stay steadfast through the flurrys and snow drifts. Hopefully you can weather this storm!

In a sense, the sister song to Throw Your Cards Down. Not nearly as FILTHY as the latter, but there's some really great synths strewn throughout to make this arrange of Phantom Ensemble a cute one. apparently some other audio was added or something I don't know

Cool arrange of Love Colored Master Spark from Jerico. Lends itself to fairly straightforward charts that don't really let up too much except in a section or two. Also has a few 24ths (at ~180bpm), but nothing too difficult to handle. It also seems that since the preview, the chart has gotten a bit dizzy.

Cute remix of some IOSYShit from IO BEST BEATS. Lots of 64th swing in this chart, as well as some neat (or obnoxious, I dunno) samples spread out pretty much everywhere in the song.

Nhato's take on Cytokine's "The Grimoire of Alice" arrangement gives it a crunchy, edgy feel with some bright, in-your-face synth solos. The track is filled with 64th swing, as well as some short 24th runs and 32nd bursts. Put together, it all makes for an enjoyable yet technical chart that is surprisingly difficult to score well on.

It's the ever-popular Tsurupettan by Silver Forest's NYO, remixed by sun3, a cool guy known for making remixes for IIDX simfiles. Do you like jumps? I hope you like jumps, because this song's bouncy nature will keep you hopping amidst the streams. Not too technically difficult, but it'll definitely challenge you with its constant flow.

Neato jazz song thing of another Ten Desires song (Let's Live in a Lovely Cemetary), from a fairly new circle called SNUG SPACE. Pretty rad with lots of touhou sax and even some piano; a few 64th flams and purple notes, but otherwise a fairly straightforward chart.

Shoutouts to sudzi for providing us with the awesome graphics, as well as to Xythar for originally coming up with the idea and helping out in forum organization. Also, shoutouts to some drunk dude with a hat fetish. And of course, shoutouts to Zebo-chan, the number one touhou fan!

"Give me a steady beat."
Agreed, I'm enjoying the recent trend of fully-stepped packs from the ITG community. Good combination of variety and difficulty.
