I'm not sure at this point. I look at different source materials (interface, marketing posters, OST album artwork, etc) to create the wallpapers and I try and work with what I find.
Konami isn't making it easy on me lately lol
EDIT: Added Replicant D-action to my albums. I re-worked it entirely and serves an alternate to DDR X2.

The stick art arrived today! I'll update this post (or make a new post) once I get a chance to mod the stick and add the art, since with the Hori RAP4 Kai that requires a bit more work; the art currently on there is a sticker so I need to cut and remove that, get rid of the stickiness left over, then set art and plexi. And that's after removing stick and buttons (which I need to do anyway since I got a new gate for my stick; buttons are good for now).
For now, here's a pic of the art~ Sorry for the bad lighting. They also included the cutouts for the buttons which I can put in some Sanwa buttons if I decide to buy those.

Oh wow that looks really cool and looks like the print quality is really good too. Sorry for the late response I've been locked in my room playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5. I'll try and post another wallpaper or two in the next few days.

It's really fun figuring out different uses for these wallpapers. The whole dual logo/no logo brings up all sorts of possibilities- Now that I've got a new radio system installed in my car, for instance...

Now that you mention it my car has a feature to upload a custom wallpaper too. I should pick one out and upload and see how it looks.
EDIT: Added Replicant D-ignition as a variation to DDR 2013's wallpaper.
I never noticed how similar it looked to Starlight Drive. ^^;
EDIT2: Added DDR X2 CS logo/no logo to the wallpapers next to X2 AC. I was going to make a separate album for CS releases but I think I'll just keep them all in one DDR album.

Could you reupload your Sakura wallpaper when you have a chance? I had been using it for years but somehow I lost it. Your wallpapers are incredible. I'm using the second DDR A one in the meantime.

Ok I re-uploaded my SAKURA wallpaper. It's been updated since the original and I uploaded one with and without the kanji. It's in a separate DDR Songs folder and I'll be adding more remastered song background artwork from various DDR mixes several of which have been unreleased by me. At this point those custom HD backgrounds also function as wallpapers since they are all 1920x1080 dimensions.

Question, any reason IIDX Red got passed over in the older IIDX wallpapers? I'd love to see a high-res wallpaper with that style.

I'm still planning on making more HD wallpapers for older IIDX mixes like IIDX RED I just haven't had much time lately. Family in the hospital and stuff like that. I didn't leave it out on purpose or anything I will eventually get to it.
I'm actually very behind since i haven't done any newer Sound Voltex wallpapers or Pop'n music either but if anything I'll start something soon. I should start a poll on which wallpaper to do next or something.

Uploaded IIDX RED to my albums. I'm making a 2nd version but its going to take some time to finish. First one came out minimalistic.

I think someone did request that before. I'm still going through alot at home so I haven't made much progress on my other BEMANI stuff.

Ok done. I had completely forgotten about those I was so busy with everything else. 
I put IIDX Casino, Lawnmower, STARLiGHT in a commissions/misc album.

I won’t be working on anything for a while since my dad has just passed away and I don’t have the mental fortitude to design at the moment and my mind is in pieces right now. I have to take care of many end of life things for my dad and help my mom with anything she needs since I’m now the head of the family. As soon as everything settles I’ll continue working on the many projects I had on my list.
