Does anyone have an idea of what's taking so long with the music packs? I recall seeing loads of songs in a video of an early preview at TGS; shouldn't they be ready?

They're not going to release everything at once and then be left with nothing new to put out until the next AC mix. There will be a slow trickle of new songs until we're up to date with the arcade around when the next version shows up, like with jubeat.

Ah, that makes sense. But I think they could release some more often and still last to the end of this year.

I guess this is also the reason for the very slow jukebeat updates of the KONAMI music packs. Right now, we only need Theory of Eternity from jubeat knit APPEND and Shounen Ripples from jubeat ripples APPEND and they are now complete.

By just looking at the songpack division on vjarmy wiki, it will take like 16 to 17 KONAMI songpacks to release all KOs of jubeat.(not counting copious yet)

Either way, I'll buy the songpacks when THE FALLEN, Diamond Dusts, Survival Games appear on the future updates

Also this has a new software update. Version 1.1.0 which according to itunes, you can now post your scores on Twitter.

In Version 1.1.0, there is also an update on the song selection. There are different colored borders depending on your scores on the song, purple, gold and "platinum" (really a light pink). There is now an "AAA+" grade, which is colored brighter than the AAA grade. (Note: It's not the same as jubeat's EXC; in fact, I've received it with a 96% score.)

Gold border: If all difficulties have at least an AAA grade.
Platinum border: If all difficulties have at least an AAA+ grade.

EDIT: Lastly, the faulty layout of experience number that occurs after a song, when you have unlocked all items, is fixed.

Actually, I think that was separate from the update. Instead, Konami just altered the store page you connect to.

Adding to this:
You get an AAA+ if your score is at least 95.0%. I think this is how it works in REFLEC BEAT limelight as well.
To get a platinum border, you also need to full combo all difficuties as well (look at NoN-Fiction Story! here: http://i.imgur.com/28DJA.jpg).

Also, I feel like L'Erisia and SPECIAL SUMMER CAMPAIGN!! should not be the same level (either Erisia should be a 9 or SSC a 10+).

L'erisia is still harder than Sakura Reflection by a long shot.

Sakura Sunrise is harder than Sakura Reflection.

SSC is actually pretty easy once you get the hang of the rhythm. L'erisia is actually my worst 10, and imo ranks harder than most of the other 10s. also, it would take MUCH more than SSC to be rated a 10+.

My problem with SSC is that about halfway through the song the chart becomes unreadable to me (if only the notes went by a bit faster...). Obviously I don't have this problem with L'Erisia.

And I keep forgetting that Sakura Reflection is a 10, because I really have no idea why they rated it a 10.

I just noticed a glitch and I'm wondering if it's just me or not. Whenever I try to play Zankokuna Tenshi no Thesis (残酷な天使のテーゼ) on BASIC, the game crashes. I'm trying to get platinum on as many songs as I can, but that glitch is making it impossible for me to do on that song. I tried X'ing out of the game completely and even tried rebooting my iPad.

I have the exact same problem! (And even the same goal) I even tried redownloading the song, but no luck.

Sakura Reflection is absolutely the lowest 10, and I can't really compare L'erisia and SSC without any 10+s to look over.
