On another note, I miss Unison.
And I have yet to understand how Unison works.

It works exactly like 4thMIX Battle Mode without being split apart visually, both players share a single 4-panel field. One color for player one and player two, and one color for both players at the same time.

Oh never mind, I thought Unison was just a synonym for Couples. In Japan they label their couples edits as UNIZON/UNISON

That is totally not how it works on 3rdMIX, that's more like a PIU Routine chart.

Yeah it's plain couples that gives the players two "separate" charts albeit very similar. Obviously what I posted was a twist on the idea. You could probably emulate Unison mode with a doubles chart requiring two players. That way it's two people with 1 score/grade working together.

That's why DDR:UK simfiles have the Unison charts from 3rdMIX entered as Couple/Challenge. The interface for real Unison doesn't exist but Couples play make the same pattern to dance to.

Yes, it's the font. Look at the mix names for Orion.78.

Looks like Konami caught on with Orion, because they changed the fonts for X2's album art.

I posted this earlier but it got stuck at the bottom of a page and no one seemed to notice, so here it is again:

- Saber WingChallenge has different AC and CS charts, just like HoratioChallenge. The difference is much less drastic, but the AC version still reduces the shock arrows.
- Starting in DDR X AC, Pluto RelinquishHeavy and Challenge no longer have two 16th notes in the 400 bpm section before the streams. They've been moved to 8th notes. (The 16th notes are still there in X PS2 US.)

Oh, a ton. From instant memory, MAXX UNLIMITED.

And from further digging, e-motion, LOVE THIS FEELIN', LOVE AGAIN TONIGHT, and STILL IN MY HEART are also good examples. Pretty much every song's background to album art was remade slightly.

Wonder Girls' latest (korean) single Like This has the Paranoia buzzsaw(?) loop playing during the song. It's quite cool.

0:22 and 0:33 to name a few.
