"I have no words for my life"
This post will appear on the next page!
I don't know if anyone has noticed this but in the Background video of Xepher the lyrics stated in the background misspelled the word has.
"I wonder when it ha begun."

GOD it took my so long to find where I saved this picture.. Wish I bookmarked the site were I got it from, since reverse searching it on Google's giving me nothing. :'|

It's from one of the DAM-DDRs (aka DDR Karaoke mix) and it looks like there's another Zukin character to add to the official character roster. Really wish I could see her clearly tho so I could draw them all together. Tongue

QUICK QUESTION: Does anyone know whether this is true or not? I find Remy wiki to be a very reliable resource, but I don't know about this piece of info they wrote up. So on the article for DDR SuperNova that RemyWiki wrote up, it says that DDR SuperNova was the last game to advertise Dancemania albums. Was it? I thought STRIKE! Was the last game to do so. Can anyone help me whether this piece of info is true or not?

Technically SuperNOVA 2 is the last game to do this with the inclusion of Me Against the Music (Dancemania EX 8) and Unbelievable (Dancemania WINTERS ROCK GROOVE) but yes around half SuperNOVA's licenses were Dancemania licenses.

STRIKE was the last to actually advertise Dancemania. SuperNOVA had a lot of Dancemania licenses, but didn't have a splash screen advertising the series nor did it have CDTitles showing the originating album. So SuperNOVA was hardly advertising the series; if you didn't know any better, you'd have no idea they were Dancemania. SuperNOVA2 didn't have any of that either.

You could argue that since the Japanese SuperNOVA site had a link to Dancemania's site, that's the advertisement, but IIRC the game made no mention of the series at all.

Bump: All the DDR Hottest Party games (except for the first one) has a background movies from the MAX-EXTREME era appearing in a song in the background stages (or in DDR II's case, appearing in a music video).
And yes, DDR 2010 does have a MAX-EXTREME video but heavily modified and only appears in CRAZY LOVE

This makes DDR Extreme the last arcade mix to advertise Dancemania. Also, DDR 2013 is the first arcade mix with no new Dancemania licenses. (correct me if I'm wrong though)

Also, DDR 1.0 foot rating names:
1 - Beginner
2 - Average
3 - Novice
4 - Expert
5 - Professional
6 - Master
7 - Hero

These foot rating names were changed in DDR 1.5. I haven't seen a video where Master can be seen but the rest I've seen it on youtube.

-Freak Like Me from Fusion CS is a 4 footer on expert.
Similar kind of trivia, all the ratings for the licenses on Dancing Stage MegaMix are the same: 1, 2, 3, 4 for beginner, light, standard and heavy

Well some were a little bit varied depending on which charts you are talking about. I think two or three songs had a 3 foot Basic chart and one of the Difficult charts was a 4. The highest on the licenses was only a 4 on Expert still.

Not big on the whole 'DDR History' thing, but noticed two things about Vanity Angel when looking it up. Pls don't -5 me!

- The expert chart: The expert chart, depending on which game you play it has freeze arrows. I think in the earlier European Versions (DS Megamix for PS2, and DS Euromix 2 for Arcade Versions) had no freeze arrows while all subsequent versions other than those mentioned had freeze arrows.

- Debut: Had some more googling for this - but Vanity Angel debuted in Europe first too. This may be the reason why the freeze arrows were added in subsequent step charts.
When your only nearby machine that you definitely know the location of is a dodgy Euromix 1, you gotta make do.

Not sure where you quoted this from post wise so apologise if it's an old quote thats been dug up and this has been said:

On megamix whilst every song was basically 1 2 3 4 for difficulty with a few variances. A little less conversation on double had a 7 for its expert chart and it's completely unlike every other licensed chart on that game. Whilst the expert chart for love at first sight was bumped down to difficult on MAX 2 US when it was given a real expert chart. (the licenses on megamix generally didn't go to anything) Also i THINK the master songlist showed freak like me was supposed to be on Megamix meaning it explains why its one of the very few licenses on fusion to have a doubles chart even if it is just another 1 2 3 4.

Also for clarification on vanity angel on EM2. As EM2 came out before extreme the songs Vanity Angel and Crash as well as Memories (I think?) Were brand new at the time, the first 2 however were rated 9's and downgraded to 8's on Extreme with the holds added to Vanity Angel whereas Memories was completely unchanged.

Going back to fusion, it was supposed to have a lot more songs added in the final version bringing its songlist to higher than that of EM2, this was not the case and the promotional material even listed songs and artists that weren't included in the final game *such as atomic kittens somebody like you*. Also as already mentioned a lot of licenses did not have doubles charts, meaning a lot of courses do not have their doubles counterpart.

Apologies again if this has all been bought up before. Just following up on the last post Smile

Remywiki is your friends, sir.
BUMP FOR A REALLY GREAT REASON, and sorry for the extremely long post.
http://dancemaniamania.tumblr.com/post/98914129466/pics-of-the-ddr-3d-book-a-crane-game-prize-that
The infamous DDR 2010 PS3 game was going to be released in Japan. A crane game prize which were 3d books that played music were made in promotion.
These books played the following tracks, and differed from book to book: Celebration, Bad Romance and Hey, Soul Sister.
This implies that the songlist was mostly going to be the same as their US counterparts (sadly).
The release was canned probably because the last DDR CS game that was released failed.
There were also some really weird cellphone DDR games as well. DDR mobius, DDR i-appli, and DDR mobile (there was also a 3d version with 3d models of 3rd mix characters in the background.
DDR i-appli was first released in 2001, and has downloadable songs. Some of which are Dance Maniax crossovers and licenses that have never apoeared in a DDR game since then.
There was a second version in 2005 featuring exclusive songs as well like a new TM Revolution song and a pop'n crossover and laster longer than the first version all the way up to 2010.
DDR mobius had several versions, and has MIDI songs that were not by BEMANI artists.
DDR mobile has the least info but it seems be based on the 573 era of games with a new title screen and I think it has B2U, Put Your Faith In Me and ever snow.

---
Bump again.

Apparently this is what the original DDR HP was like in devlopment.

"My paw is incompurrable!"
In the mainline arcade DDR (at present), Golden Sky, Trickster and Poririzumu have made the most number of consecutive appearances among all licenses to date with six appearances. (Golden Sky: SN-2013; Trickster and Poririzumu: X-A) Butterfly comes second with five (1st-5th). Not counting songs that for some reason Konami doesn't treat as licenses based on the license sort such as CSFILSM, La Bamba, Trust and Still in my Heart (Momo Mix) to name a few.

The current MAX songs left (Candy, Exotic Ethnic, Healing Vision (Angelic Mix), Let the Beat Hit em (Classic R&B Style), Max 300 and Orion.78 civilization mix) have made the most consecutive appearances to date with eleven appearances, from MAX-A.

Paranoia, Paranoia Max (Dirty Mix) and Brilliant 2U have made the most number of mainline arcade appearances, only missing in two mixes.
