UPDATE: copious pack 5 will be taken off on the 7th of the month. I suspect the expiration of the licenses for either CARTOON HEROES or SUPER∞STREAM the reason .Marking the first time where Konami Originals will be taken off a paid song pack (Starlight Parade & アルストロメリア). Maybe they will be made free eventually.

Maybe this'll motivate them to make a new pack with those two and the delisted default songs (Snow Goose and Sweet Rain).

copious pack 6 is being removed on 4/4.

Well... okay. I don't know what they're doing anymore.

Pre-saucer "mix" packs have licensed covers in them. Copious pack 06 has Dandelion, which was removed from jubeat saucer with prejudice (most Song Swap songs could be requested back but not that one, and it was one of a few songs not to return in the final update in 2013), so it's the likely culprit for why the pack is going down.

Ryoushi no umi no Lindwurm is the only song I can recognise in that song list. And I'm pretty sure it's on Jukebeat too...

Does this mean we're gonna have a song exclusive to the American release by technicality?

No I mean like, long term.

We will be at 6 KOs missing from jubeat plus by then. At first the replacing the licenses with Sweet Rain and Snow Goose seemed like a perfect fit, but now we're down two more songs.

Of course I know why licenses in song packs get removed. I'm not stupid.

jubeat plus will eventually have to rearrange the classic music packs that have the licensed covers mixed with them like what happened in the Android version.

For now we can see a revised copious pack with Starlight Parade, Alstroemeria, Matataki, and Lindwurm.

Hokuto No Ken is being taken off on the 31st along with both both LAST ALLIANCE packs and WHITE ASH 2. Lots of expirations happening right now.

Trying to get in Challenge Scratch but I can't because the game keeps telling me an app update is required. I go to the app update and there is no update available at all.

Any idea of how to fix this issue?

Switch your App Store to your Japanese account. That should fix your issue.

Sadly it didn't. I tried switching it several times between my native UK store and my Japanese store and it still won't let me access it. I'm probably going to have to reinstall at this rate.

So im very new to this game and noticed that the songs are kind of lacking.. Should i install the Japanese version? Are there better songs on there? And can you provide some tips for newer players. Right now i have to dim the CPU circles cause its VERY distracting and i hate playing like this cause it feels fake.. Thanks!

It sounds like you're talking about REFLEC BEAT, not ju/Jukebeat. There's a thread for that.

Also, Japanese versions of both games are years ahead in KO content and also have actual J-Pop, Rock, EDM, Vocaloid, and Classical licenses, so I recommend them highly if possible.

Terrible news for Kindle users. The game is being terminated on June 30th. Song packs can only be re downloaded until June 30 with the game no longer receiving song packs starting today (marking Little Witch Academia the last song pack ever for the platform).

Other news is that thanks to new regulations there are new broader (but somewhat looser) limitations on how much adolescents can spend on the game:

-15 years old or younger individuals can only purchase 5,000 yen worth of song packs per month. (~$45, 10 packs)
-16-20 year olds can only purchase 20,000 yen worth of song packs per month. (~$180, 40 packs)

It used to be that the restriction for the second tier went from 16-18, but was tighter at 10,000 yen.

Also, in addition to the Kindle version, the au smart pass version of the game is being terminated at the same time.

Okay, two questions:

1. Is the Kindle version being terminated for both the Japanese and US releases?

2. How do the purchase limitations work? I'm guessing it's based off the age set for the Apple ID?
