I posted this in Bemanistyle before, though there were many hits (around 480 as of the time of posting), not many people were replying for help and I had to ask a few. No luck still. However, I won't stop from finishing the pack.

I will include song cuts and a few full versions of the tracks, though I'm awful in making graphics via GIMP, so if anyone can provide assistance, I'll be happy to do so. If there is any questions or issues, give me a notice, and I'll see what I could do.

I just updated the first post. There are 7 simfile links as of today.
Anyways, I was noted that I use t7r's style of backgrounds. I mentioned I'm awful in making backgrounds, though I could get some assistance on banners. I asked t7r months ago on this and he supplied it to me.

Also, remember Gran Turismo 1 on the PS1? That's where the Ash track was in. Here's the example.

Update 6/9/09: No Dokudenpa yet, but I've got a few other hardcore tracks, like Boss on Parade. For those who never checked them out. Boss on Parade was part of the Cosmic Pope's megapack. Anyways, I cut this track perfectly (using Audacity, not ACID or Goldwave) and it's synched well. Anyways, here is the video. As of now, the background will change in the future.

Update 6/10/09: Uploaded Boss on Parade. I may need some suggestions on the stepchart because I may have misrated the Challenge steps.

Weak and Powerless is now cut to 2:16. Of course, if anyone has suggestions on improving the setlist, feel free to post like the Dokudenpa request before and I'll be happy to do so.

Also, advice on making BGAs for a few tracks via Sony Vegas 9.0 would be appreciated, too.

Update 6/12/09: I've added another promo video and made a major change. Obscure by Dir en grey, will be a cut track (1:56) and not a full version. However, the BGA needs a bit of work because it's interlaced using Vegas. Anyways, here is the video link for the Challenge steps.

Update 6/13/09: Just upped a music video as a BGA. Obscure is still too early to release, so I need feedbacks on the BGA. Used Vegas 9 to edit the video and the original source was the Average Psycho Version.

Update 6/16/09: I just cut Overkill (Live) by Motorhead, and will plan a video of a live performance (It doesn't say "Live" for nothing).

Update 6/17/09: Almost Easy is now cut down. Just stepped the Challenge steps and synced perfectly. I'll also plan to cut Iron Tusk by Mastodon.

Update 6/18/09: Uploaded Iron Tusk. This one was tougher to cut and step because of the tempo changes, but it wasn't too brutal to do unlike System of a Down's BYOB.

Update 6/19/09: Just added Jump Around and Misery Business in the setlist. Any suggestions to expand the setlist must be replied here before the end of July. After July, the setlist will be final.

Will Almost Easy be done soon?

It'll be finished by the week, if not sooner. The Challenge steps is a 14 (using DDR X Ratings).

I've also noted that the setlist is a bit larger than last week because I added some Infected Mushroom, Scott Brown, and another Prodigy track.

In addition, I'll start A Rite of Passage now that Black Clouds & Silver Linings is released today (didn't say if it's all regions yet).

I've been looking through the Youtube videos and the stepcharts hooked me so far. The boss songs are certainly interesting.

Good luck with the stepfile pack. I'd love to see your steps on The Terror of Death, Boomstick, and Lockjaw.

Thanks. Once the pack is near-final in the future, I'll mark the boss songs as BOSS, and make them OMES (Encore Stage). Of course, since YouTube still has issues with WMG, I won't post the WMG content on YouTube like Broken, Beat & Scarred.

With this in mind, from this point on, I'll mark Final Stage track for Broken, Beat & Scarred, and Extra Stage for Destruct and Pull Me Under.

While I am here, does anyone have a good animation editor such as Vegas or something similar? If true, can someone make a few BGAs or give Vegas suggestions on how to make a good BGA?

Oh, you might wanna double check on your Boss on Parade (Japanese Hardcore) simfile. The SM file does not have any steps to it...

Here are some thoughts on the files. Not all of them unfortunately.
Boss on Parade (Japanese Hardcore) seems somewhat off. The steps don't follow with the BPM changes for Oni. Maybe the SM file got messed up?

From what I've seen from the Expert chart on youtube, it is stepped rather nicely, I think.

Destruct is fun to play. Could be 13-ish, maybe.

I wanted to see how people would interpret a 19-block on the DDR X system. So with that in mind, I enjoyed trying + failing Bad Boy Oni. =D

Fixed. I was careless by using the older folder (not the newer folder - I renamed it to BOSS - Boss on Parade - Japanese Hardcore) and put in the wrong audio as well. That older audio was from Audacity, where I used ACID on the newer audio. It's ready now.

I also forgot to put another course down. This one involves Shock Arrow usage.

I will try to make it as content-friendly as possible because I don't want to have explicit lyrics. I will update this post once I get a response from Renard.

Update 6/27/09: Sorry to keep everyone waiting, but I got a response from Renard, and says it's okay to use "Off With Her Head". I edited the audio to make it content-friendly and it shows. I'll get it up soon once the steps are complete.

This is getting more and more awesome every day.

I may either include Battery or Seek and Destroy (Live). Seek and Destroy (Live), if this will be provided, is a Guitar Hero: Metallica version. With regards to Japanese Hardcore, I will provide version 2.0 which will remove the gimmicky steps (it was supposed to be experiemental anyways). The stepchart despite the removal of the gimmicks is identical.

Finally at this time, I have something hidden called the Endless Setlist. Much Like Rock Band's mode, the Endless Setlist is where the player plays all songs (with the exceptions to nonstops and remixes) in the setlist on any difficulty level. I don't know if this is plain overkill because of 60-70 tracks nonstop.

Update 7/08/09: I won't be available for the time being this week. I can't explain the details, but it involved medical stuff, so I'll be away from my computer for about a week. I will try cutting War Inside My Head as soon as I get the chance.

Update 7/15/09: Well, the list is going on and on. I may either do Deep Unknown by Stratovarius (or Stratovarious, I dunno) as either a cut or a full track. I first heard this when browsing in Comcast's On-Demand feature on the Music section. It may still be here today, so if you haven't seen the video, check it out.

Anyways, I'll get Ace of Spades '08 and Blood & Thunder up in a few minutes. This post will be updated.
