Sorry to hear that.

Snoop Dogg has recently changed his name to Snoop Lion and moved his focus from rap to reggae.

Everything seems to be going downhill in my life, I don't know if that's because everything is changing or I'm just not the same pandy anymore... What ever it is it sucks.

In other, lighter news, today was my first day of work. SD totally made a debut by dominating 6 projects at once. ^^

I had an awful dream last night.
I dreamt someone had ripped my hair out, but only on the top of my head and they'd left the hair on the sides and back, like Larry Fine from the Three Stooges. It wasn't shaved clean like Larry's either; it was torn out by hand, so there were still some scraps of hair that were missed or ripped out at inconsistent lengths and whatnot.

So my dad finally caved-in on virtual console and wiiware. I just finally bought a classic controller pro and 2000 Wii points card. My dad was like, "This is what the card looks like? It's really just like prepaid cards for cellphone load/credits?". He expected a device that plugs in on the wii. As for the controller, he sarcastically remarked that I'll get better on it, since I am more used to this kind of controller layout. Sorry, but I like my motion controls thank you very much. My brother in law asked me what multiplayer games to download so we can play together. I remember telling him before that the classic controller is an add-on, not a separate controller.
And this was MY SALES PITCH FOR THE CONSOLE BECAUSE BOXED GAMES ARE EXPENSIVE (unless you really want to play Luxor or Bejeweled on it). I told them I could buy a special controller and some prepaid cards and I can download games because the wii, in principle is like a cellphone (this was part of the sales pitch too, with regards to the point cards), you can load it up with credits but they are used to download games and stuff.
tl;dr, I wanted this to happen when I bought my wii, not 9 months later. Must've been hell with just Mario Kart Wii and Resident Evil 4 and DDR 2010 this january.
Maybe I should've made a powerpoint presentation on it, like that kid on the Windows 7 commercial, when he convinced his mom to buy a dog for him.
Sorry for the all caps at one point, had to vent it out.

I opened up to my mom about this (see enclosed quoted rant above). I said that I wasn't as straight with things that I want to ask for (. I couldn't even do it with a straight face, looking at my sister as I said what I needed to say. After my soliloquy, she asked me possibly one of the hardest questions I've ever been asked.
"What do you want?"
Also, my wii broke down. I was gonna plug it in last Friday morning when I heard a "pop" sound (I'm not sure if it was from the console or the power brick, which was at my feet at the time). Power doesn't seem to be going to the console, just checked and its still broken down.
Unlike what I did with my mom, I don't think I wanna ask my dad about the transformer right now. we've had a rough few days so to speak and I don't wanna burden him with this issue right now.

Go get her man, you've got DIS
Aside from the amazing news above...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So today I went to Orlando to compete in a DJ Hero 2 tournament. The ride was ok, and we eventually made it to the venue (Nerdapalooza!!). I get in, I show my ID, I get patted down for anything suspicious (they had a metal detector guy checking for...metal stuff) and immediately to my left, in the middle of the entrance is the DJ Hero 2 booth. The event was hosted by this guy named Jason, who runs a competitive video gaming league known as vVv gaming who lives in Orlando, he hosted a Guitar Hero tournament yesterday but he told me there was only 4 people who signed up. When I went up to him, I asked if there were people who signed up for the tournament yet and he said "no". So then I told him who I was and where I was coming from.
He eyes got wide. He knew who I was and was supremely surprised to see me there at the event. It wasn't even 5 minutes inside the buidling and he already reserved a PS3 DJ Hero Renegade Edition box set for me WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING. So throughout the day I was checking out the place, wasn't all that bad, they had bands and 8-bit DJ's playing in the main stage as well as artist booths and dealer's booths selling stuff. But I went back to the DJ Hero booth and I started to play a few rounds. After one setlist, I had a good crowd of about 7 to 8 people watching me the entire time. Sooner or later as time passes on, I actually got people to sign up for the tournament he was hosting. I didn't want to sign up mainly because he already knew (and most of the people around there) that I would DOMINATE EVERYONE, and it would just be in bad taste overall, and I didn't mind it, I wanted to see other people compete in a DJ Hero 2 tournament.
Everything was just done amazingly, and a lot of people had a great time. For one final time, Me and Jason had one last showdown, and I got video of it. In between playing, my brother called me and was a bit annoyed that I wasn't ready to leave the park, however somebody in the back was yelling "SEE THIS SHIT? HE'S TALKING ON THE PHONE AND PLAYING AT THE SAME TIME!" and the people went nuts. I don't know why, it's actually something I normally do when playing DJ Hero if somebody calls me up. But man was it just overall a great day. I left with stickers, key-chains, a car freshener ornament, a Guitar Hero World Tour patch, DJ Hero 2 stickers, DJ Hero 2 shirt (which I WANTED so badly and now I've got it), and Band Hero shirt, and the PS3 Renegade Edition bundle.
And now i'm home. |-3
