Marten confirmed to me on Instagram that downloading the disguised file in the hacker's "game" has a script that grabs your discord token, which bypasses your Two-Factor Authorization. There are probably SEVERAL victims to this scam already.

If anyone wants to know how Marten fell for this malware, his game developer friend got hacked and sent him the suspicious link, and he bought it because it's something he would indeed say.

Thus, PSA: if ANYONE gets asked to test a game right now, or gets messages conveyed in a manner that is unusual, please take caution and contact them outside of Discord if at all possible to verify that it was them and not the hacker. A message, for example, may come like this:

It's worth noting that at least one other member of the community that I know of got hacked with the same exact script ("I am so good," "my friend has a birthday soon," etc.,) so ANY messages that look like this are suspicious.

I may be stupid, but this is why I don't even bother with 2FA, it takes more effort for something that can quickly be bypassed. I'm not saying don't use it, I'm saying that it's way too easy to bypass. all they gotta do is steal your token and you're fucked.
