I don't even know where the recent craze of mockup anti-piracy screens came from, but it does make me laugh quite a bit. Throws me back to the time that everybody thought the certain creepy image in Sonic CD was actually anti-piracy.

I feel like the joke is starting to get worn a bit thin. For some of them it's hard to keep my suspension of disbelief because they get too edgy, or get too ambitious.
This is also a pet peeve of mine with the mock anti-piracy screens, but sentences like "it is a serious crime to copy video games according to copyright law" are redundant. Most anti-piracy screens back in the day left out the "according to copyright law" bit. They didn't ask you to report pirated copies either. I know it's just a meme, but those details just kinda bug me.

Yeah, same. Even the MPDS one is hard to believe imo.
Besides, they just don't have the same charm as some actual anti-piracy messages in games, like hello hacker fucker.

My favourites are the messages that Richard Aplin put in his Amiga ports of arcade games where he just absolutely took the piss out of cracking groups at the time. "Look mum! I can use SEKA, TETRAPACK and DMS! (Next week I'm learning bowel control)"

Even on its second-to-last day, 2020 has received two more famous casualties.
Dawn Wells (Mary Ann on Gilligan's Island) died of COVID at 82.
Alto Reed (saxophone player for Bob Seger) also passed away. He had colon cancer andwas 72.

I was gonna post this here, but then I realized that I was going off on a tangent. I'll post this here instead.
Also, the master list used to be a file (I've never really confirmed if it was a simple text file on the disc or if it's in an esoteric file format that you can open up in notepad. Those who were privy to stuff like this never did spell out things like this for the rest of us) that you could find on the PS2 discs. As far as I know, the last one to be found on disc was from DDR X2 and foretold content that would come out up to DDR 2010 (Dreaming Can Make a Wish Come True was confirmed to have been recorded during X2/HP3's heyday, and the KOs in that game felt like a B-side to what was already made for the former).
However, that didn't stop the master list file accessible somewhere on this website from being updated with entries well beyond DDR 2010 and I haven't heard of this file existing in AC data.
Also, Happy New Year, Everyone!

As far as I know the master list doesn't even include artist names.

I'm auditioning for a reality TV show and the audition tape is complex and stressful, I want to show my absolute best work and representation of myself.
I'm not supposed to talk about it but this is the last place anyone would look
