Has anyone else who pre-purchased the digital version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate still not received the email containing their code for getting Piranha Plant? I’m wondering if anyone else may be having issues with that or if I do actually have a problem on my hands, because I definitely pre-purchased the digital version early enough. Maybe I’m being impatient, though.

In my case I got the physical version of Smash Ultimate and had to have the points registered through My Nintendo manually. Afterwards, I received the email, entered the code, and hade to wait until yesterday, when Piranha Plant showed up in my roster. Perhaps the pre-purchase campaign may be coming to a close or the email fails were an error on Nintendo's part...?

I registered my game manually over a month ago and I don't have a Piranha Plant code. It's not even in my junk mail.

I know they have the disclaimer saying that it can take up to 10 business days to get it, so maybe some of us just have to wait. But I don’t really see why it should have to take that long for some of us to get it.

I also just read that there's a glitch with Piranha Plant that can potentially ruin your save file if you play All Star mode using him, so maybe Nintendo's doing something about that before they start giving out more codes? I hope that's the reason, anyway.

Ohhh, well if that is the reasoning for lots of us still not getting our codes, then that’s totally understandable. Thanks for letting us know about that.

It’s been more than 10 business days for me... but if there’s a game breaking bug I’m glad I haven’t gotten it.

Since the seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere, how do countries in the Southern Hemisphere structure the school year? Is it from late August-early June (like it is in the Northern Hemisphere), or is it shifted accordingly to late February-early December?

Most of the time, from late February to early December.
At least in Australia, the school year gets shifted to late January - mid to late December!
However, in my state, I know some schools start mid year like the Northern Hemisphere.

That’s really interesting. Although it makes total sense with the seasons being different.
