bm has had a track record of saying thoughtless, rude, bigoted shit and his latest anti-gay stunt was the last straw.
In keeping it real with all of you, if I wasn't banned before all that happened, I definitely would've been banned now from all the anger, bile, and vitriol I would've spewed at him. I don't tolerate that shit and neither should any of you.

Recently the Madden shooting sparked a really bad take from one of our users in a Discord server. I tried my dead-level best to calmly talk through what he believed, while discouraging hostility from other users responding. A few of us explained why what he said was wrong, but I tried to make sure that he could still have a voice. It was challenging, but I felt good in working to improve his rationale.
Anyway, I just wanted to provide some food for thought. I just hate feeling uncomfortable in a place like this...Trying to sound cynical only seems to make things worse for me, so I feel I just want to have a better connection with the people I communicate with.

There are certain social situations where trying to be a "middle of the road/hear all sides" guy is NOT the way to go lol. I'm sure it gives you some sense of superiority that you're able to have a nice debate without feelings getting involved or whatever, but when it's an issue that directly effects people that sort of demeanor can come off as callous.

Repeating the comment about the homophobia simply being the straw that broke the camel's back. I think bm had plenty of chances to start being a decent member.

Pretty sure there were several instances of him being racist in the past but I don't have the receipts on that claim off hand.

Just feel the need to say, I've lost all patience for bigotry that's rooted in superstition. Back in high school I grew up surrounded by that and even somewhat accepted it at the time. But then in college I grew up and realized it was stupid and harmful. Also realized I had homosexual feelings of my own. At this point I have no sympathy for people who reach adulthood and still have an unshakable faith that results in bigotry towards others. Which seems to comprise a significant amount of people in the USA today.

h3h3/Ethan use to be funny, then he stopped and tried to be the voice of reason about everything and turned into a total hypocrite shithead who just wants to start drama.

....I feel like there is more to this than just what you guys are posting about h3h3/Ethan.
From my understanding (and viewing a bunch of his posts, videos, recent occurrences on Youtube), he stopped doing weekly/monthly videos on his main channel because:
1) He wanted to focus more on himself and Hila (and their dog) and moving from New York to LA was a plate that they could not be able to handle at first.
2) He grew tired of 'mocking' the people in his long videos, or what he deems as people thinking he is completely bashing the people he is commenting on his videos but in reality he just only highlights the cringe/weird/crazy things about a subject/event/person and means no ill will against the person (even when he got sued by a YT content creator over a video he used in one of his videos, he stayed calm and urged his followers NOT to witch hunt the guy and chase him out of the site).
3) Youtube algorithm changes and also the site basically not being cooperative with him. This speaks on its own, but basically as the algorithms changed and new site rules changed (sometimes without their knowledge), he grew angry and pissed off that there was no formal communication between himself and the people running the site.
If you guys follow the channel, you notice that he is mostly focused on his H3 Podcast show, which basically helps him out a ton thanks to the YT algorithm which favors minutes watched/retain-ability over shorter content that even though may get millions of views, those views won't stay on the video for long if it isn't enough for people to keep watching the whole video.
Yeah he has had quite a few controversial moments, but that was what his channel was known for, talking about them and making humor out of it without (trying) to escalate things. Again, one of the reasons he doesn't do those videos anymore is he is tired of the drama that seems to ensue once he puts out those videos.
I don't want to say I am defending him, his channel, or how he views the world, I just feel like there are reasons that most of you guys seem to completely miss if you haven't seen the channel or some of his actual sit-down videos of him talking about his life, content, etc.
I miss the old H3H3, I miss his old content, but at the same time his podcast stuff seems to be a hit on his channel, and times changes, so I wasn't expecting him to do the same thing for years and years of his life if it meant draining his own personal time and for his wife Hila. And believe me, he isn't anything like the Paul Brothers, Rice, Keemstar, or any of those ACTUAL CONTROVERSIAL to-the-point-they-can-get-sued-and/or-jailed-for-what-they-have-caused YT 'stars'.

My main issue with him is that like, every 2 months Ethan and Hila will make some whiny ass video where they explain why they "disappeared" or some shit (aka people stop watching their videos) and how they'll be going back to their roots or whatever and then it ends up being something really dumb and unfunny and then they go back to doing whatever else they apparently got tired of and it just goes in an endless circle. I'm not even referring to the podcast here; I see that as its own separate thing and I'm fine with it. I've enjoyed some episodes of it.
Like, I get that you can only react to Gamer Gear and DJ Khaled so many times, but it seems like over time, h3h3 has developed this unnecessarily antagonistic attitude towards to the people that made them relevant in the first place.

Again, my condolences, Toon. I know what you're going through. Hope you feel better.
Bit of an odd comment but that is a very pretty urn. They gave us a modernized version for my dad. It was like a black box looking container with his ashes inside. Either way we had him home for everyone else to say goodbye and then we buried him at the cemetery. I think that was the hardest part of my experience is that I had to bury my own dad with my own hands. That's an odd/uncomfortable feeling that very little people are going to understand but people told me at the very least he was buried by his blood and only son. I took him some flowers to his grave a few weeks ago for his birthday. Nothing still feels right but nothing much I can do at this point I suppose.

This is literally like the 3rd or 4th time they've made this exact sort of video. If you hate making videos so much, don't fucking bother. I completely get being depressed because I have probably way too much first hand experience but you guys literally make this same video every few months. Maybe it's time to just hang it up and admit that you ran out of ideas.
